Familyography

It's always been a pleasant experience dealing with Dan at the Columbus store. The product is nicely done and the prices are reasonable. My one tiny quibble is that you need to be very clear if you need something done by a certain date. Other than that, I just think it's a friendly, well-run business that creates order out of chaos.

Work was performed professionally and within the time estimate given.

Dan did a nice job on conversion with several batches of slides, over 200 in all. Results with a few slides in one batch were a little off, and they redid them no questions asked. Price was as good as it gets in our area or online. It's a small operation so sometimes a little slow, but we were not in a great hurry and they offered to rush if needed. Recommended.

As expected - we have all the videos on a hard drive, and once we have time to go through them, Familography will put them onto DVDs for us. The owner was easy to work with

It was completed in a week and I got the tape back and an audio cd.  I am so happy.  No more sound of the cassette player in the background.  It was well worth the price and Daniel is very nice.

During a visit with our daughter, we ran across a small roll of 8 mm film purported to include footage of her baptism - 43 years ago. We found Daniel on Angie's list, and took the film to him to see if he could convert it to DVD. Despite the obviously amateur quality of the film (much of it jerky and shot into the sun), Daniel was able to successfully convert it to DVD and provide us with some 43-year old memories. The cost was very reasonable. Having had our apetites whetted, I suspect we'll look around for more memory-loaded films and slides to take to Daniel for conversion to usable format!

Daniel took my video recording from our elementary school band and choir concert and loaded the audio from several of the songs onto a CD. He was knowledgeable and friendly - traits I value as a customer (and sadly see lacking in many big-box and chain stores), Turnaround was nothing short of amazing. And I'm talking six days before Christmas - when fast turnaround is crucial for those last minute shoppers :). The price was more than fair. It was fun to read the special label he produced where he referred to the CD as "smash hits from Indian Springs Elementary Choir" and "exclusively produced for Grandma XXXX" I have passed this store and read their sign so many times and thought it sounded like wonderful gift ideas. So happy I finally listened to that voice! Definitely a satisfied - and will be a repeat - customer.

They were particularly helpful taking super 8 mm and 16 mm movies and converting them to DVD.They also assisted us in putting together a presentation for our grand daughters graduation party. Part of the DVD involved an honors event that was recorded 24 hours prior to the event.Dan was very helpful with our particular requests and successfully provided the material for the graduation in the presentation DVD.

He performed the service way beyond any expectation that I thought he would be able to do. I had forgotten I had these tapes. After seeing in what bad shape they were, I needed them to be transferred to DVD and chose to give them out as Christmas gifts. My children hadn't seen any footage of themselves as babies in years and he was able to save that so they could see for the first time in a long time. I recommend that if you have old tapes lying around you get that done today. The longer the tapes are lying around their chances of being salvaged decrease.
