I am so grateful that we took her suggestion as Zach exceeded my expectations. Having only gone through a local bank I was unsure what to expect. Zach answered every telephone call I made, made the process quick and painless, and beat the closing time/pricing for any of my local competitors. He has many years of experience and has been at Equitable for a long time---this also made me feel comfortable that he knew what he was doing. I highly recommend him and you won't regret it!

Zach Appleby and Equitable Mortgage provided outstanding customer service. He was responsive throughout the process of selling our home in NY, purchasing a home in OH and relocating our family to the Columbus area - all during the holiday months from October-December. Within 6 months of closing, interest rates dropped and Zach reached out encouraging us to refinance with a 15 or 20 year mortgage. His knowledge professionalism, and ethical standards are second to none.

We looked around carefully before choosing a company to work with on refinancing our mortgage.  There are so many scams out there, and we didn't want to become another victim.  Thanks to Angie's List, we found Equitable Mortgage Corp, and worked with finance officer David Sherman.  The entire experience went wonderfully.  David shot straight and gave us great advice throughout the process.  He answered all our questions promptly and completely.  Closing was a breeze, and they even honored a coupon that we had forgotten to present at the start of the process.  I would highly recommend Equitable Mortgage to anyone looking to refinance their home.

I worked with Steve Stas and Nikki Rumker and they were great. I called Equitable because of their reviews on Angie's List and from the first call, they were really helpful. When I stopped in the office to drop off documents, I went to the receptionist desk, and immediately they asked if they could make copies for me-just really friendly.  I had a situation where the seller wanted to speed up the closing date, and Steve and Nikki always kept in touch with me and our realtor, making sure nothing was forgotten about.  We made the closing without a problem.  As far as the product, Steve made sure I got a good rate without all the PMI garbage. In addition, Equitable offered a coupon for $250 off for Angie's list members. I will definitely use Equitable again.

I would definitely recommend Equitable Mortgage.  John Stamolis made the whole loan process flawless.  He was very prompt in answering questions and explaining the details of the loan.  I experienced excellent service with a very professional staff.  Also found their pricing to be very competitive and their fees quite reasonable.

Worked with Zach.  I got this company's name from Angie's List to begin with, so it was my only referral.  But I was very pleased with Zach.  The whole process went much more smoothly than I anticipated.  Zach was extremely responsive, told me exactly what I needed to get to him, and called me frequently and kept me informed.  Would use again in the future.
