I purchased a "Repair" package. They were late. They tried to tell me I bought a package for a tune up. When they saw the garage door, they immediately said I needed a new door. That put me in a panic mode, I was not financially able to purchase a new door. I think me being upset sort of communicated my position, they finally saw what I wanted and did it. Good outcome was they also oiled the hinges and springs.

Great! Would hire them again in a second.

They came same day. The tech discovered and fixed a minor problem with the wiring, adjusted the tension, and solved a problem with the long standing problem with the lighting. That got me back up and running in no time for the cost of a service call. Really appreciated the same day service, and the heads up about the spring nearing the end of its lifespan in a year or so (even though that wasn't the problem).

Since I knew the problem was the sensor, Bob was able to quote a price over the phone. Rich was onsite within 24 hours. Did not have the parts on the truck, so he had to go pick them up. Returned within 2 hours and completed work within 15 minutes. Pleasant and responsive service.

Called this morning. Richard arrived early afternoon. Being an older door, he didn't have the necessary spring to replace it. He came back in a couple hours, replaced the spring, and checked the door over. All is good. Good service and knew what he was doing.

Richard came, replaced the cables and made all other necessary adjustments to the door to allow it to close as good as it could, considering the age of the door. He was professional and never tried to sell me a new door, even though mine is probably 30 years old. I am planning on replacing my door as a result of this service call and will use Economy to do it. These old, heavy, wood doors require too much maintenance and they showed they are not high pressure company. What a pleasant surprise to see a family run company do such great work and have the integrity that is missing in so many companies today.

OMG. Cory arrived. . . on time!! He assessed the situation and was able to get the garage door open. He found the t-rail separated when a bolt had fallen off. He got his tools, replaced the bolt, adjusted the extension springs and lubed all hinges, rollers and pulleys. Within half an hour my door was fixed and he was on his way. I couldn't have asked for better service.

Everything went well. I had them repair a garage door on a different property also. They aren't the quickest at calling back, but they are very friendly and more than happy to help me.

On Friday evening in the dead of sub-zero winter a garage door spring broke. I called Economy at about 8pm and a repairman was there by noon Saturday. We discussed whether to replace one or both springs, as a 2-spring repair is less than two 1-spring repairs. We looked at the other spring and the repairman ultimately suggested repairing only one spring, since the other looked fine.

2 weeks later my wife called me in the afternoon to say that the other spring had broken during the next cold wave. My workmates laughed told me to find another company but I called Economy anyway. Not only was the other spring repaired the next morning, but we were only charged the difference between the 1-spring and 2-spring prices, not the higher single spring price.

Kudos to Economy Garage Door for not only being prompt but also for being considerate about their cost and for not trying to take advantage when we were wrong about the second spring. Economy Garage Door was prompt, professional and ethical - the repair company Triple Crown.

Bob came out and gave me an estimate on the service and their prices were the cheapest around town.  His son came out and did the work and did a fantastic job.  He arrived at the time he said he would and even disposed of the old garage door at no extra charge.  Great service!!

We finally didn't use their service because we chose the other brand of door which matchs our other garage door  side by side .
I kind of regretted having not use this company because we are not happy with other company who installed the new door later.

Called them and had them check out the existing door.  They had to special order it, but waived their usual required deposit in doing so.  They were a bit late on the day of installation (about 30 minutes) since they had a hard time finding it (different person installing than checked it out), but once there installed it quickly, efficiently, and did a good job. There have been no problems since the installation.

One person came to do this and it took maybe a couple of hours.  They came out quickly, which was amazing because we could not open the garage door to leave.  They left the area clean.

Wonderful experience!!  Called on Monday for a quote and was able to schedule installation just a few days later!  The installation was great - the work was solid, clean and very professional.  I appreciated the time and care he took to make sure the door was functioning properly and that he explained the operation thoroughly with me.  Highly recommend their service!
