Duffy clearly had no legal obligation after 18 years. I was impressed that they stood by their customer (us) and made it right. There was no push back or argument, just good old fashioned customer service! Don't see that much any more, especially from builders.

They were here when they said they would be here. It was a warranty issue, and they took care of it. It was kind of filling work. The experience was great. They were very honest about when they would be here and when they wouldn't be here. It wasn't like we were going to see them and they didn't show up. We are happy with them. We would definitely use them again.

We have been in our new Duffy home for a year now. We bought an already built and available home. We fell in love with it the moment we saw it. Duffy has been superb with us through the entire process. Their sales person took lots of time to address our questions and concerns. Their financial area, although not always as responsive as she could have been, was very thorough. She helped us explore multiple options and identify the one that best fit our lifestyle and needs. The service folks have been prompt. Duffy has even changed things we didn't really think they would take care of. For example, we bought a new refrigerator that was slightly larger than the available space. They sent out a carpenter to make adjustments at no expense. There have been very few issues during the warranty period that needed addressed. Everything about this builder has been quality and service. We continue to recommend them to our friends.

DUFFY BUILDS A NICE HOUSE, BUT I THINK THEY ARE A BIT PRICEY FOR WHAT YOU GET. THEIR MODELS LOOK MUCH NICER THAN THE HOUSE WE GOT. THE BIGGEST COMPLAINT I HAVE WITH DUFFY IS THAT THEY DON'T TREAT THE CUSTOMER VERY WELL. SPENDING OVER A HALF A MILLION DOLLARS ON A HOUSE, I THOUGHT THE SERVICE SHOULD HAVE BEEN A LOT BETTER. THEY SEEMED ANNOYED EVERY TIME I WANTED TO CHANGE SOMETHING AND THEY TRIED TO NICKEL AND DIME EVERYTHING. MY EXPERIENCE WAS NOT THE WORST, BUT CERTAINLY NOT THE BEST.
