I've dealt with them a long time. They aren't always the cheapest, but they're very, very, very reliable. I don't know how cheap they compete, but I don't care about the price when I take something to them because they always get it right.

2003 CR-V: A/C wasn't working. A local Honda dealer looked at it and quoted $2595 to replace the A/C, clutch, & coil.
I called Dublin Road Auto Care for a 2nd opinion, and explaining what the dealership said was wrong and what they planned to replace. The tech at Dublin Road Auto Care said that he'd need to take a look to be sure, but that typically only the compressor & dryer assembly need replaced, and gave me a verbal estimate of $1108, which was 57% cheaper than the dealership! Made and appointment a few days later, took the car down first thing that morning. They called a few hours later confirming the initial quote, and they had the car ready for me by the end of the day. A/C worked great all summer, and I assume it will still be going strong next year! So happy wtih the big savings!  :-)
2005 Elantra: Based on the experience above, a few weeks later we brought our other car in diagnose some noise near the rear. They confirmed the muffler had no leaks, told us how much life was left in the brakes (estimated at 6 months, so we deferred that a bit longer), and told us the noise was coming from the rear tires, which were in bad shape on the inside edges. Gave us 3-4 tire options at different price points, and let me call him back after we mulled over which option we wanted -- we chose to go with one of the more expensive models because we expected the car to last us several more years. Total cost was $638. Once again, prompt service, good communication, and straightforward answers to any questions I had.
2005 Elantra (AGAIN): The head gasket blew a few months later, and the radiator cracked too. (NOTE: No engine work was previously done on this car by Dublin Road Auto Car). The Hyundai dealership near our house gave us a hefty quote range ($1800-$3500), depending on how bad the engine head was warped. 
Once again, I called Dublin Road Auto Care for a 2nd opinion. They considered it for a moment, and candidly advised that we'd probably be better off replacing the car, if we could afford that. I really respect that they didn't waste our time trying to get more business out of this repair when they didn't think it would be in our best interest. Yes, we did end up replacing this car.
We are very pleased with our experiences so far, and would definitely use Dublin Road Auto Care again.

The staff at Dublin Road Auto Care does a great job. I dealt with Paul, who I believe is one of the managers/owners. He got my car in and out on time, as promised. He actually took me out to the garage and showed me exactly what he needed to do with my car before anything was done. I am by no means a car expert, but he really helped me understand the problems with my vehicle that may need attention in the near future. He also has never once tried to sell me a service my car did not really need. I feel very comfortable that he is keeping my car in good condition.
I have used Dublin Road Auto Care several times in the past. These guys have a lot of integrity. There was a mechanic there who once told my husband that he would need a significant amount of maintenance done on his next visit. When the next visit cam around, my husband asked about the maintenance and was told by Paul that it was not needed. He stated that the mechanic who had tried to sell my husband the extra maintenance had been let go as they had been having problems with him trying ro sell customers unnecessary services.

It would cost me $3000 if I would have gone to the dealership which is a big difference. They were very professional and extremely honest. They were willing to tell me the good and bad. They were up front with me and I trust them implicitly. I have already referred them to several people.

Repairs were done on timely basis and for price quoted.

They did a great job. They made recommendations without being pushy. They were professional, friendly and even offered me a ride to work. They were also very prompt. I had my car back the same day.

If you have faith in your mechanic, isn't it so refreshing? Well, this is the garage that you need to use. Not only are they open on Saturday for those quick oil changes but they are also always willing to take a look or hear a noise and provide assistance. I have used this garage for the last 4 years and it has always been a great experience. I am never happy about spending money on my older car but when you know that it is needed, and you trust the mechanic, then it is not as hard to deal with the paying the bill. I am so thankful that I have found this garage and you will be too. Not sure they can work on those foreign cars? Well, they did the due diligence to find the least expensive part while making sure that it is factory certified. The compressor has been working great and now I have air conditioning again.

They are always prompt, quote the price up front, and communicate well. They try to give you alternatives based on cost and safety. My car has over 175k miles, and I'm planning on keeping it for a long time. Paul gave me all the info I needed to make a good decision on how to proceed with the work and does not pressure you to spend more than you have to. I will return again.

Everything has turned out well. They explain everything well, and they are not pushy. There prices are average or above average. They seem to know what they're doing.

Our 2005 Dodge Grand Caravan was in to the dealer for oil change and tire rotation. Of course, they came up with a list of other items that needed fixed for over $2000 including to say that there were leaks with parts that needed replaced. We took it to Dublin Auto Care for a 2nd opinion. They suggested we have a pre-purchase inspection done to go over the entire car to look for issues ($89). They found none of the problems the dealer found but suggested a tune up to replace spark plugs. We had them do the work and they completed it the same day.

Dublin Auto Care has taken care of this car for years and years, and everything that goes wrong, they are able to fix.

Very well. They were able to look at the car the same day we called. The mechanic performed several diagnostic tests and explained why he was doing what he was doing in a clear manner. Another mechanic had told us we needed a new catalytic converter, to the tune of $1200. He said that was not necessary, and reviewed the test results with us to show us why. He said we simply needed to clean the sensors, which involved buying a bottle of cleaner and inserting it into the fuel tank the next time we fueled-up. He only charged us $60. He was very honest and thorough and we will be using his business in the future for our car care needs!

They do a fine job at a reasonable price.

I have used this service company for 3 years. I called on a Friday about a used car I was thinking of buying. Jack spent time on the phone giving me a couple of web sites to check about the specific car. When I told him about the low mileage, 9K and the fact it was a 2008, he stated that I really didn't need an inspection as it was probably under warranty. It was under warranty, but the drive train warranty doesn't transfer. So we made an appointment for the following Monday at 9 am for a $75 pre-purchase inspection. I was out by 10 am, and only charged $47 - and he filled the tires since it was so cold and he knew the car had been in storage since summer..

These guys have been taking care of my car for years. They recently started this business after running and/or working at the another company at Lane and North Star, which Messick sold. They are honest and they don't fool around. They get the work done in a reasonable time and they don't suddenly find imaginary problems that you didn't know about. As usual, I drove off feeling safe and secure in my car, knowing it wouldn't need anything but gas for several months.
