I called this company to repair the entry doorknob from the garage to the house. I told them it was a Kwikset Smartkey knob and ask if they worked on that brand and could replace it with a smartkey again. They said yes and quoted me $29 service fee and $39 lock fee over the telephone. When the service representative arrived, he removed the door knob and said the latch was broken. He did not repair latches, but if I wanted the door knob to be replaced it was $99 for an off brand knob, plus $29 service fee. If I wanted it to be keyed to match existing locks it was another $45. This was a true case of bait and switch. What reputable locksmith does not carry a $10 replacement latch for a nationally known brand? A new Kwikset Smartkey Knob cost $22.40 at Lowes. If you like being ripped off and overcharged, I would use this company.
