Doug is great. just moved into a new house and it was a fixer-upper. He works alone but allowed me to help to keep costs down. Very reasonable, particularly with the heating and cooling work. No nonsense, straight shooter. If it is something he is not comfortable doing he won't hesitate to tell you and will most likely let you know someone that can do it . If he sees things wrong that you were not aware of he will point out but have never gotten a high pressure sales pitch. Will hire again.

Doug has done work for us in the past, installing track lighting, specifically. So I hired him again to install my kitchen track lights. He's prompt and enthusiastic and we made plans for him to come again to fix a door and clean out the flues. It was a good thing he suggested it, because one of the flues appeared to have never been cleaned out before and could have been a source of carbon monoxide. He's an all around quite knowledgeable guy, I would recommend him for any handyman work.
