They have dogs that come and stay the day with them as well as kennel them. We used their kennel for a 10 day visit in the winter. We were a little unsure about leaving her but she was just fine and happy! She could be out and play with the dogs but when she got tired, she could come in and be in a quiet kennel. They have a fenced in area outside where the dogs can hang out and play. They have a group of dogs that will run to the fence when you pull up who are very excited to see you bring your dog.

My husband and I met with the staff at the Doggy Day Care facility. We arrived 1/2 hour before closing. They took our dog's shot certificate and then took our dog back to the other dogs to see how she fit in. Once all dogs were picked up, we were given a tour of the facility. This facility is perfect for our dog. It has indoor and outdoor areas with things for the dogs to play or lounge or sleep. In the summer, they bring out the pools for the dogs that love the water, which my lab is one of them. They provide services such as grooming and nail trimming. They also have a Vet for those that need one. I love the staff there. They are so attentive to the dogs. It is a perfect location for anyone that works downtown. Once you have checked them out and they have checked you and your dog(s) out, you can bring your dog in any of the days they are open, without having to call. Their prices are fair. I highly recommend them to anyone looking

Staff is very courteous and accommodating for changes/cancelations/additional day add-ons, as well as administering prescriptions. My dog loves going there, and the investment in daycare is worth 2 full days of a calm and relaxed dog I get afterwards. My dog is bred for bird hunting, which I don't do. So, running around with his buds all day gives him an athletic and mental outlet that I don't always have time to do. Any medical/health issues that may arise (scratches, vomiting, etc) are also brought to your attention, which is inevitable with a large pack of dogs around each other all day.

I spent about $30 a day, so it would have been about $90 on that service. My dog seemed to have a great time. They were really great because they seemed to fit me into their busy schedule for the holidays and that was nice of them to do that. At first they did not have any openings, but they called me in a few days and told me they did and that was very helpful. I think that it is very convenient because it is downtown and the fact that it is near where I live and work and that was useful. They have been around for a while I have used them a few times in the past and I have never had any issues them. It just seems to be a reputable company.

My dog and I had an interview with the owner, who is an obvious animal lover, to make sure my dog would get along well with other dogs and in a group setting. The place is very clean, the animals are able to run around at all times and socialize with the other dogs. The owner and workers seemed to have good control over the pack of dogs. My dog loved it there the week that he stayed. When I went to pick him up, it was the first time he acted like he wouldn't mind staying a few more days! He was clean and happy when he came home.

Since he is only nine months old, a puppy still, the play time and socialization with the other dogs seems to wear him out so that he gets his exercise. The staff is very friendly and the space itself is kept very clean. There seems to be a very good constant supervision, to prevent sickness, fights, etc. They also have an outdoor area so that during good weather they can get outside to play. They also provide music for them, but at one point in the day they do turn it off and shut off the lights so they can have nap time. The approximate cost listed is per day, but they do have packages where you can pay for 5, 10, or 20 at a time for a discounted price. I think they even have other services for overnight, or weekend boarding, but I haven't used any of those yet.

I was amazed by how excited yet really tired they were when I picked them up.... I'm sure if they could talk I would of heard a gazillion stories on the way home! They LOVED it. This is a true daycare, not a place as most are, where they have to be put in kennels after a few hours of socializing to sleep. Don't get me wrong - the dogs can sleep if they want to... but if not they can play all day! They even have an outdoor concreted area so they get fresh air and can baste in the sun! My dogs go to two daycare centers and this is by far their favorite. They even know most of the dogs from Schiller Park that also attend. The rates are $22 a day - or is discounted for multiple dogs/packages etc.,

Our dog has been going there, on average once a week, for several years. He has stayed overnight on weekends and when we're on week long vacations. He has also received baths/nail trims. The girls at DDC are very attentive, and Amber is always very accommodating. Our pooch comes home and sleeps until the next day! Everytime we drive there, his tail is wagging and he's bursting out the door without so much as looking our way to say good-bye, he loves it! He also needs medication and has had some minor behavior/anxiety issues, but Amber worked with him and us to resolve everything so that everyone involved was comfortable and happy.
