He was late coming but overall he did a very good job. He cleaned up the tree limbs and branches that fell on the ground and hauled them away in his truck. I was happy with the price and results.

I called DJ Hauling for an estimate. I told John, the owner, I needed to remove about eighty tree trunk sections from eight trees I had cut down. He came promptly when he said he would and gave me a satisfactory estimate. He had all the necessary equipment to quickly load his truck. I was amazed how efficiently he was able to do what I thought was impossible for one man to do. He cleaned the yard when finished. I could not be happier. I will definitely call him again.

John did an outstanding job! I was very impressed with the level of service John provided. I called on a Monday after lunch and John agreed to meet me that same day after work at 6:30. He provided an estimate, which he met, that matched the lowest estimate we had received and he could get the work done beginning on Wednesday of the same week which was weeks before others could get to the job. John arrived on time on Wednesday and removed the very large Pine tree and he began on the removal of the Magnolia tree before darkness set in. He returned the next day and finished the job. He cleaned up everything beautifully. You could hardly tell he had been there. We had just planted new grass in places and John was extremely careful not to disturb the new grass even though it was in his way and he had to detour around it to remove the tree limbs, etc. Throughout the job John was one of the most polite people I have every worked with. He was extremely respectful and very helpful with informing me of why he was doing things as he was. I would highly recommend John to anyone who needs tree work.

John responded within a day to my call, and we set up a time for the estimate. He came when he said he would, and we discussed a few possiblities for what to do with the hedge. He gave an estimate that seemed quite reasonable for the work. He and another worker came on the appointed day and completed the work satisfactorily in a few hours. We will call him again.

Mr. Sullivan was very professional and the job was done on the spot. He removed several dying bushes from our landcaped area in front of the house. The job went smoothly and the cleanup was great.

I called John on a Saturday for an estimate. He was over in a half hour, and ten minutes later he was at work. It was a hard job: these yews were 70+ years old and dug in deep. One of them pulled out with chains relatively easily; but the second one wouldn't budge. But John kept at it until finally we realized it was a better approach to cut it down to the ground and call in a stump grinder (which I will now do). He was incredibly professional, diligent, and determined to do the job right. I will definitely call him in the future for tree and hauling work.

John came out on Friday morning, February 13, as promised, and when I got home from work that night, the tree and all branches were removed and the area was cleaned up. His price was more than fair and his service was exemplary. I will definitely use him again and refer him to my friends.

John and his crew showed up when scheduled and did a great job.

John called me back the same day I called and made arrangements to meet me after work the next day. His estimate was $150 less than other estimate and he was there the next day. They did exactly what we agreed upon cut up trunk into 18 inch segments that will fit in fireplace and removed all of the branches (large and small) from my yard. It looks so much better now. Previous landscaper left mess in yard and at curb that wasn't properly bundled. Sat there for two weeks.

I called for an estimate, and John came over within a couple hours to meet with me. The price was so reasonable for the work I wanted done that I immediately asked to schedule the work. That was on Friday afternoon, and he performed the work Monday morning. The tree and limb removal were neatly and carefully done, and clean up was super. I will certainly use this business whenever I have tree service needs or hauling to be done.

John removed a large silver maple in our back yard that completely fell over during the September 2008 wind storm. I had used him for a very minor branch removal earlier in the year, and he was so pleasant and punctual, that I wanted to see if he could do a job this big. He was honest on the phone with me and told me that if he couldn't do it, he's refer me to someone who could. He was obviously busy that week, but came out to give us an estimate on Saturday morning, right on time. The tree had actually fallen onto our fence and was obscuring my next-door neighbor's backyard, so even though he needed to split up the removal into two separate days, he made sure he removed the portion that was in her yard right away. Then he came back shortly thereafter and removed the rest. He and his assistant were incredibly hardworking and fast. It was a pleasure working with him again, and I really recommend him.

D J Hauling was very timely, especially given how busy tree service companies were at that time. The work was done on time and the workers cleaned the property up when they were done.

Due to the windstorm on September 13th, it was almost impossible to get anyone to even return a phone call, much less remove the mass of broken trees and branches from my yard. After a week of frustration where tree companies wouldn't even call back, much less come to my house to work, I looked up DJ Hauling on Angie's List. When I called them, they were courteous and professional and were able to send a crew out the same day I called. The crew even called me shortly before they came out just to let me know they were on their way. They showed up on time, did a great job cleaning up and left the yard spotless. I will definitely use them again and recommend them to others.

John was great. He gave me a detailed estimate and quick to call when weather prevented him from starting on the planned day. He cleared back all five trees in one day, and was able to get my yard looking fantastic in time for the holidays.

WE RECEIVED A PHONE CALL AT 9:00 PM ON THE NIGHT BEFORE THE SERVICE WAS TO BE PERFORMED ASKING IF WE COULD PAY THE ENTIRE AMOUNT IN CASH. AFTER CONSIDERABLE TIME LISTENING TO THE RATIONALE (NEEDED TO PAY WORKERS IN CASH, BANK ACCOUNT CLOSED, ETC.), WE FINALLY INSISTED THAT THE ORIGINAL AGREEMENT OF PAYMENT BY BANK CHECK BE HONORED OR SERVICE SHOULD BE CANCELED. JOHN AGREED, AND PERFORMED THE SERVICE TO OUR SATISFACTION, BUT CALLED FOUR DAYS LATER AGAIN REQUESTING CASH PAYMENT INSTEAD OF A CHECK. WE COMPLIED SINCE WE WERE VERY PLEASED WITH THE FINAL PRODUCT. WE MIGHT HIRE AGAIN IF WE WERE GUARANTEED THAT A BANK CHECK WAS SUFFICIENT.
