They did a quick, and really thorough job! Very knowledgeable, taught me some new things. Cleaned up well afterwards. They let me use their shopvac while they were busy doing other things. A reasonable price.

What a professional! I have used this company for HVAC check-ups for a few years and I moved into an older home. I decided to use Custom Air and they exceed my expectations. Their equipment was top flight and the service tech really seem to know what he was doing. He had a lot of great suggestions about how to improve the air quality in our home, the best filters to use, etc. He must have traveled in and out of our home 60 times and wiped his feet every time. This gentleman really took pride in his job- a true professional.

Very happy with the service received, from the initial phone call forward. Dave spent HOURS educating me on HVAC, and discussing options for replacing existing system. Installers Jay and Allen were great, and left no mess behind for me to clean up: they even swept the floor. We are in the process of looking for a builder for a new home. One uses Custom Air for its HVAC systems, and our positive experience with this company is a large factor in making our building decision. We got several estimates. Custom Air wasn't the cheapest, but I am very confident we got the best buy. It's 94 degrees outside, and nice and cool in here!

Mike was very courteous, prompt, and knowledgeable. He offered us a 10% senior discount which we accepted.

The work was done 2 weeks ago. A/C still running great. My unit is 19 years old. I was expecting them to push buying a new one (which I can't afford right now). The Tech didn't even bring up the subject. I so appreciate not being 'bullied' into things because I am a woman.

They came on Saturday when they said they would, had it done in 3 hours and I would certainly recommend them.

First scheduled appointment was a surprise when the company called that morning to cancel. It said its worker called in sick and there was no one to replace him. Next appointment worked out fine. Worker arrived on time (8 a.m.) and completed his work in about 5 hours. He was polite and thorough. When he needed to move pieces of furniture, he asked permission and always returned the items to their original positions. The company did its work promptly and professionally. There was a minimum amount of disruption. I expected to have some residual dust flying about and settling on nearby furniture, but that didn't occur at all.

They were extremely good at responding to our calls. We scheduled right away. They arrived promptly to do the job. However, since the installation, they have had to come out twice to fix problems. But again, they were very repsonsive, and the job has been finished to my satisfaction.

Andy was the service person, and he knows his equipment. I would definitely use this company again.

ON TIME, POLITE, BUT HAD TO COME BACK THREE TIMES BEFORE THE PROBLEM WAS FINALLY REMEDIED. WAS COVERED IN THE YEARLY CONTRACT EXCEPT FOR PARTS. DID COME RIGHT AWAY TO FIX THE FURNACE.

NOT THE CHEAPEST OR THE HIGHEST BID WE GOT BUT GOOD WORK FOR A FAIR PRICE. WORKMEN WERE ON TIME AND WORKED AROUND OUR SCHEDULE. THEY LEFT THE BASEMENT CLEAN AND REMOVED ALL THE TRASH. THEY EXPLAINED HOW EVERYTHING WORKED. THE ONLY ISSUE WE HAD WAS THAT WE COULDN'T GET THE WATER HEATER TO IGNITE AFTER THEY LEFT AND THEY CAME BACK IMMEDIATELY TO FIX THAT.

MY HUSBAND SAID THEY WERE ON TIME. HE DID HAVE TO CALL THEM BACK BECAUSE HE SMELLED GAS, AND THEY CAME RIGHT BACK OUT (IT ENDED UP BEING A LOOSE HOSE). OVERALL, MY HUSBAND WAS IMPRESSED.

CAME ON TIME. POLITE AND HELPFUL WHEN I SPOKE WITH THEM. EXPLAINED WHAT THEY FOUND AND WHAT WAS NEEDED. DID NOT EXPLAIN WHY BOTH A/C SYSTEMS CHECKED OUT FINE, THEN 60 DAYS LATER BOTH WERE SERIOUSLY LOW ON REFRIGERATION FLUID CAUSING FREEZE UP OF COIL AND LEAK OF WATER THROUGH OUR CEILING. SYSTEM RECHARGED WITHOUT CHECKING FOR SOURCE OF LEAK, WHICH REQUIRED ANOTHER VISIT AND ANOTHER SERVICE CHARGE TO FIND THE SOURCE. THE SOURCE OF THE LEAK SHOULD HAVE BEEN IDENTIFIED PRIOR TO THE RE-CHARGE. ALSO, NEVER IDENTIFIED REASON THAT THE SECOND UNIT WAS LOW (AND STILL HAVE NOT). PRICES WERE COMPARABLE TO MOST OTHER PROVIDERS.

I RETURNED HOME LATE FROM AN OUT-OF-TOWN TRIP TO DISCOVER THAT MY AIR CONDITIONER WAS NOT WORKING. THE NEXT MORNING I CALLED CUSTOM AIR. THE PERSON I DEALT WITH ON THE PHONE WAS VERY PLEASANT AND PROFESSIONAL. SHE ARRANGED FOR A TECHNICIAN TO COME OUT THE SAME DAY, GIVING ME A TWO-HOUR TIME BLOCK (2:00 TO 4:00) FOR HIS ARRIVAL. SHE CALLED AT ABOUT 2:20 TO SAY HE WAS ON HIS WAY, AND HE ARRIVED ABOUT 20 MINUTES LATER. FORTUNATELY, THE HEAT PUMP WAS FINE. THE AIR CONDITIONING MALFUNCTION WAS CAUSED BY A BURNT WIRE, WHICH THE TECHNICIAN QUICKLY REPLACED. I WAS PLEASED WITH THE COURTESY, PROMPTNESS, AND SERVICE I RECEIVED, AND I MENTIONED THAT I HAD GOTTEN CUSTOM AIR'S NUMBER FROM ANGIE'S LIST. I DISCOVERED LATER THAT CUSTOM AIR IS LISTED AS A SERVICE PROVIDER THAT GIVES DISCOUNTS TO MEMBERS OF ANGIE'S LIST, BUT I WAS NOT GIVEN A DISCOUNT.

CUSTOM A/C WAS QUICK TO RETURN OUR CALL, AND WAS AT OUR HOUSE AT THE TIME GIVEN. WE WERE VERY PLEASED WITH THEIR SERVICE, AND THE COST WAS REASONABLE.

LEFT WORK EARLY AND DROVE A HALF HOUR TO MEET WITH THE COMPANY REPRESENTATIVE. SPENT ANOTHER HALF HOUR DISCUSSING THE 2 A/C UNITS THAT NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. SAID HE'D MAIL ME A QUOTE BUT NEVER DID. WHEN I CALLED 2 WEEKS LATER HE SAID HE FORGOT BUT WOULD GET BACK TO ME. HE LEFT ME HANGING AND NEVER RETURNED MY CALLS.

I CALLED THIS COMPANY TO SOLVE THE PROBLEM WITH VERY LITTLE COOLING ON MY 2ND FLOOR. THEY WERE FAIRLY QUICK TO SEND A TECH, EVEN AFTER I TOLD THEM MY EQUIPMENT HAD ALREADY BEEN CHECKED OUT BY ANOTHER COMPANY AND I FELT I HAD DUCTWORK ISSUES. THE TECH ARRIVED ON TIME, WAS VERY NICE AND THOROUGHLY CHECKED OUT MY FURNACE AND HEAT PUMP, FINDING NO PROBLEM. ADDED A BIT OF FREON AND TOLD ME THEIR DUCTWORK PEOPLE WOULD CALL ME. WHEN I RECEIVED NO CALL, I CALLED THEM. 2-3 DAYS LATER WHEN THE DUCTWORK GUY CALLED ME BACK HE TOLD ME HE WAS THE COMMERCIAL GUY AND HE WOULD HAVE TO HAVE THE RESIDENTIAL GUYS CALL ME. AGAIN NO PHONE CALL, SO NO FURTHER BUSINESS FROM ME. I ALSO THINK $170 WAS A BIT OVERPRICED FOR WHAT THEY SAY WAS 2 HOURS OF LABOR BY THE TECH.

JEREMY WAS PROMPT, FAST, AND FRIENDLY. HE HAD THE AIR WORKING AGAIN IN 15 MINUTES, AND DISCUSSED MY OPTIONS IN CASE THE PROBLEM PERSISTS. VERY WELL-TRAINED AND PROFESSIONAL. IF I DO NEED TO REPLACE THE FAN OR ENTIRE UNIT IN THE FUTURE, I'M CALLING CUSTOM AIR IN TO DO THE JOB.

JEREMY WAS KNOWLEDGEABLE, FRIENDLY, AND THOROUGH. HE EXPLAINED WHAT REPAIRS WERE NEEDED AND WHY. WE WERE THANKFUL TO GET OUR A/C WORKING, AGAIN, ON THE FIRST HOT WEEKEND OF THE SUMMER.

PROMPT AND COURTEOUS. VERY THOROUGH.

OFFICE PERSONNEL WAS POLITE AND HELPFUL. TECHNICIAN, MICHAEL CHIARELLE, WAS ON TIME FOR THE APPOINTMENT, VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE, AND COURTEOUS. I APPRECIATED, VERY MUCH, THE INFORMATION, AND HIS HONESTY ABOUT THE AIR CONDITIONER THAT WAS PUT IN MY HOME.

WHEN I CALLED THE COMPANY, THEY WERE POLITE AND TOLD US SOMEONE WOULD BE OUT EARLY MORNING. THE TECH DID SHOW UP WHEN WE EXPECTED. HE WORKED DILIGENTLY AND WAS FRIENDLY. THE PRICE SEEMED A LITTLE ON THE HIGH END TO US.

MY EXPERIENCE WAS GOOD. THEY DID THE WORK WHEN PROMISED AND AS PROMISED. HOWEVER, I WAS NOT PREPARED FOR DUST THAT WAS CREATED THROUGHOUT THE HOUSE FROM THE CLEANING. WITH ADVANCE NOTICE I WOULD HAVE COVERED THE FURNITURE.

WORK WAS DONE WHEN PROMISED AND AS PROMISED. WORKMEN WERE NEAT, POLITE AND EFFICIENT. LEFT THE JOB SITE CLEANER THAN THEY FOUND IT.
