"Customer 1 and Customer 2 own rental property together. 6/5/20, Customer 2 called to have a sewer line cleared at one of their rental properties. CMS informed her of costs ($511.27) CMS found tree roots in main sewer line. CMS called Cust. 1 as Cust. 2 left job. Cust. 1 approved new costs and also added additional work (tub leak), which all was completed ($1109.40) CMS did warranty this work for tree roots only, which we delivered warranty letter and thumb drive (video of camera work in sewer line) of work to them personally after hours. On 7/15/20 Customer 2 called CMS and said sewer backed up again. We informed her of charge and stated if its not under warranty there will be new charges and she approved ($473.00). CMS cleared sewer of flushable wipes. There were NO tree roots with this call. Customer 1 and Nate, CMS service mgr, spoke last week and Nate informed him of everything that was completed on job. Customer 1 was fine with charges. Before end of call, Cust. 1 and Nate where laughing. Now Cust. 1 is going on Angie's list and saying CMS over charged and did not warranty work. No company will warranty clearing sewer lines (other than the warranty of tree roots) as you don't know what foreign objects renter is putting down system other than waste. CMS takes pride in our work and making sure the customer is happy with the work performed. Suzette Crawford/Crawford Mechanical Services, Inc."
"3235 Ainwick Road was a previous customer. Crawford Mechanical Services (CMS) went out for the previous customer and snaked the vent. CMS told previous owner that the pipes were really old and he might want to consider replacing pipes. House was built in 1951. The new owners (Member's) wanted CMS to come out and run the snake back into vent (as a warranty) CMS told the member that we cannot warranty snake work on the new owners. The members made an appt. with CMS to come out and snake vent. On the morning of the appt. CMS had an emergency call and emergencies become priority. CMS called the members and told them we would be late due to the emergency but would be there at some point. The members stated it was okay. Yes, CMS showed up 3 hours late. The member told CMS that she didn't have time to have the service completed so we rescheduled. CMS showed up for the next appt. on time. CMS knocked on door and no one was at house. We waited for 20 mins. thinking maybe the members had to run for an errand. CMS called the member and she would not answer the phone. CMS operator checked the call logs for this particular day and no the members ever called back to let us know where they were or to reschedule. CMS has built a reputation on integrity and honesty, and we’ve been developing long-lasting relationships with our customers for years. CMS hopes that when customers have emergencies that take presedence over another service call, that customer would be understanding and know that CMS would do the same for them if they had the same emergency. Our goal at CMS is to strive and make our customers want to call us back for any service. CMS would just never not show up or call. Thank you. Owner of Crawford Mechanical Services."
"I would like to thank the member for her response on Angie's List. As a business owner, we want to make sure our customers are satisfied. I pulled the invoice and we installed a Delta faucet for her tub. The member signed the service ticket and was given a total for how much the job was going to cost (which was itemized). She signed for the invoice that was in the amount of $665.00. The total of the invoice was $665.00. I am not sure how we changed the billing since the service ticket she signed for and the invoice that we mailed to her was the excact amount. Hopefully, in the future we can service the Kolman's. Thank you. Crawford Mechanical Services"
