CQ Painting

I was going to receive floor work in my family room by another gentleman in which case I wanted the foyer done first. This would allow me to put the furniture from my family room into the foyer. Thomas did not show up until 3:30 pm when he was supposed to show up at noon. He did not want to do the foyer first instead he did the family room first. He painted fast and  he splattered paint everywhere including on a valuable clock I own. When he was doing the painting he was looking at all my prescription drugs and reading the labels out loud, as well as, other things in my home.  His girlfriend actually ended up showing up to help him. They did not finish until 6 pm and still did not finish the foyer. The next day they came and dismantled all my window treatments to paint the ceiling. I was in a meeting for the day and had to run out of the meeting to speak with my boyfriend about the final payment for the company. I explained that I could not pay him until 5 pm, when I would return home. The painter actually said there three checkbooks in my home as if he was surveying things in my home. He wanted my boyfriend to write him a check from my check book. When my boyfriend refused to write the check they ended up leaving for the day without their final payment. I came home to put my registers on after they had painted and could not find any of the screws. The painter called to check on the payment and I explained that I needed my screws for the register. He said that he was going to pick up the screws at Home Depot for me. I offered to send him a check in the mail and he explained that his billing address is incorrect and he did not want it sent to any other address. They ended up coming over to my home to collect the check. I explained that I really wanted the screws before I would give the payment. They wanted to come into my house to find the screws for me. I allowed for the painters girlfriend to be in my home not the painter. I was so frustrated by the whole situation and felt that they were being inappropriate at my home. The painter was in my garage and spit in my face. My boyfriend ended up paying them for their services. I called the police because I felt that spitting in my face was completely uncalled for. I spoke with the police and they gave me their card to press charges if I so choose. Later on I found out that $100 was missing from my home a drill worth $350.00, part of my china, and almost all of my controlled prescription drugs. I have decided to press charges against him and if need be to get a restraining order. I have stop payment on the final check. I checked his police records and found that it was a mile long with various criminal activity. I am afraid for safety and I am trying to protect others safety from his services.

Thomas was very polite and did a great job. He estimated the job for 2 days but brought in extra help and completed the work in 1 day. His quote included paint that he picked up and brought with him. He left the remaining pain with us after the job. He gave worthwhile advice on picking out colors. His prices were slightly higher than other quotes, but I found his advice and service to more than make up for the difference. We plan to use him for more work in the next year.

The painting crew arrived at 9:30am. They were thorough and efficient. Moved quickly without compromising quality. We are very happy with the job they did!
