I contracted with Costello's Painting to perform both internal and external painting, replace some boards and power wash my roof.  The price was fair but I could never get Mr. Costello to actually perform the work.  After repeated promises and missed commitment dates, Mr. Costello and another individual finally arrived and painted a few boards that were left in my backyard with the promise to return the next day to complete the work which he never did.  After waiting an additional three days, I finally hired another contractor to perform the work.

John, owner, was on time the date he gave us the quote.  The start date of the work was actually pushed out further than anticipated because of the Spring rains (mother nature). When John and crew started the job they worked daily until the work was completed.  John even recommended using a different trim color from the one we chose.  We ended up changing our trim color to his recommendation and we are very pleased with the outcome.  John had a tough job covering up the paint colors on the house - it had four colors!  We are new to the neighborhood and every fews days one of our neighbors stop by to tell us how much of a transformation the painting had on the house.  We are extremely happy with the outcome and we have recommended John to our neighbors, colleagues and friends.

They did call me back which I appreciated, but I did not use them.

There is a lot of semi traffic on the street and there was an oily film on the house that they were able to get off. They came when the said they would and were real pleasent to have around. Reasonably priced. Two guys worked on the job and did things I did not notice. They were very thorugh.

The crew was conscientious, proud of their work, and did a high quality job with no blemishes, problems or concerns whatsoever. I have dealt with a ton of contractors, these guys were highly professional, respectful and excellent at what they do. Unfortunately, a rare find. I had no problems at all and came back from work to find things done neatly and perfectly. My wife was impressed with their candor and ability to handle the kids well while the crew went about their business and put high end finishes on the majority of my living spaces. Would recommend to anyone looking for a quality job at a reasonable price. They do their own work and do not contract out to other small crews that operate on a small pay scale with work that comes out sloppy. Great guys, great price and a super job on my >$1 million home.

The estimate was completed within a few days of my request and the job was started within two weeks of my approval of the estimate. John Costello has always been very professional and uses good products. His workers were prompt, courteous, and friendly. They quickly completed power washing and staining my deck with the exact results I was expecting!

Very impressed with the effort, professionalism of the team, finished product, and the willingness of the team to do whatever it took, to make the finished product perfect. The job was started on the date that they said it would be started, and finished as promised as well. The crew was courteous to myself and family, clean, well spoken and dedicated to the project. These guys worked their tail off, and I have been getting numerous compliments and requests, for the painter's name and number. You can not go wrong with this company. They are going to do my house next week, I am very confident that it will be done right, and would refer this crew to my closest of associates and friends alike.
