Continental Blinds

This was the most pleasant experience we have had with a contractor/service provider in quite some time. From the first call to the installation, everyone was professional, considerate, and timely. David, the owner, was aware of other deals out there and made sure that his bid was competitive. The business has an answering service so that when you call you always speak to someone. This was surprising and amazing. No one does this anymore. All messages I left were returned the next business day. I would recommend them to everyone.

It went well. I was happy with the job.

Very well. The blinds in one of the rooms came in the wrong size but Continental immediately reordered them and got them in within a week or so. Although this was an inconvenience, it was handled very professionally and responsively.

I only used them once, I started to use them twice. The first time was quite lovely, not so much the second time. The first time they cleaned our mini blinds, we have a lot of windows. I used to clean them myself. We have 65 windows in my house. After the first time I would have said yes to using them again and then I tried to.

Excellent. We originally called for replacement parts and repair, however when they came out they discovered that the design of the headrail had changed since we bought our blinds and the parts were no longer available. David, the owner, contacted Hunter Douglas and was able to get us a new headrail under warranty. Isaac and Matt were early and efficiently installed the headrail and replaced the verticals. Everyone we dealt with at this company was pleasant and professional. We especially appreciated their service as we purchased the blinds at The Andersons which are now out of business.

I would recommend Continental Blinds and the Hunter Douglas brand to everyone. Continental's staff couldn't have been more helpful and professional. One blind did not fit properly. Continental got right on it. Between Continental and Hunter Douglas the replacement was here in less than a week. Great job!!

truly professionals - excellent service from the time we called until the time they came to our house (for a reasonable service fee) to repair blinds in the house.

Our experience with Continental Blinds was great.  David came to take the measurements, and Isaac installed the blinds.  We were provided with shades to temporarily cover our master bedroom windows so we could have some privacy until the new blinds arrived.  Ann was very professional on the phone, and she sent email confirmations of both the measurement and installation appointments, complete with picture IDs of the Continental employees who would be doing the work.

Showed up on time and very quietly and professionally restrung the blind. Cleaned up and left with us having a like new blind. This is a good company and have used them before and will use again.

Everything went well. Very nice and prompt.  The whole service went perfectly. I was very pleased and would use them again.

David arrived on time and went through everything.  He measured and gave me an estimate.  I had estimates from three others for the blinds.  I went to their show room because I wanted to see the remote for the window in one bedroom and talked with Ann.  David came back out again to do a final measure and because I had changed my mind on colors and a few other things.  He gave me another estimate.  I signed the agreement on March 24 and on April 2 Isaac came out to hang them.  He was very helpful and informative.  Everyone was very kind and answered all my questions.  My blinds are lovely and I really like the remote blind in my bathroom.

This is the nicest company to deal with!  I was really upset when I first observed that after spending over $2000. for shutters, I could no longer tilt my windows inward to clean them.  I called Continental and they came out within a couple days.  They verified the problem and, after careful consideration, determined that using a different style hanging strip would likely correct the problem.  When the new hanging strips arrived, they scheduled a time to come over and take down the shutters and reinstall them with the new hanging strips.  The new hanging strips corrected the problem with tilting the window for cleaning, but left a small gap when the shutters closed.  Without my having to point out that this wasn't the way I wanted my custom shutters to look, Dave (from Continental) had already decided to order 4 new shutter panels that would correct the gap problem.  It wasn't a big gap, just a bit more than you'd want with a custom shutter.  I'm sure some companies would have called the problem "fixed" at that point and charged me extra if I wanted a better fitting shutter.  
When the new panels arrived, Continental  once again scheduled a time to come out and reinstall the shutters with the new panels.  This fixed the problem and I am very happy with the results.  The windows (in my living room and dining room) look just the way you'd want custom shutters to look.
Continental wound up replacing all the hanging strips and half the shutter panels.  They were very nice about it and always made sure their numerous visits were scheduled at times good for me.   All of this was done at no additional charge.  
I've found a number of really exceptional companies--like Continental Blinds--through Angies List.  It's such a pleasure to work with these companies and know that their work will be done well and if something should ever go wrong, it can be taken care of in a very professional and pleasant manner.  Thank you Angies List!
