He arrived on time and was attentive to our concerns about the the kitchen wiring. He took time to explain what he was doing, explained the issues with the kitchen wiring, and what he would do to fix it. Paul gave us an estimate and we set up an appointment. On the day of appointment, he arrived on time, fixed the issues in a promptly efficient manner, used the new materials we bought when we originally tried to do it ourselves. I was impressed by the job they did, and also of their professionalism and abilities. I am happy with the end result and do plan to use them in the future for the upcoming renovations.

I contacted Mr. Lownie for an estimate on fixing outlets that seemed to be joined in a music room. After analyzing the room he gave an estimate for that work as well as for hanging two ceiling fixtures. The most amazing thing is that this required cutting through the sheet rock and he was able to immediately access a friend to come and fix the holes in the walls and ceiling. I found him to be knowledgable, with reasonable rates, timely and just fun to talk with. I would definitely call for his help again.

I called Paul who was just leaving for a personal appointment late on a Saturday afternoon, but he empathized with my situation and was at my home within 20 minutes of my call. After checking the panel and considering a few obvious items, he narrowed the problem down to two options. The first and least expensive was an issue with an outlet in the series having gone bad or a problem with the outlet's wiring. After a thorough evaluation of all of the outlets on the circuit, he found one with a wire that had come loose. He replaced the outlet, put everything back together and completed the job in less than two hours. He was efficient, courteous and professional. Completed the work in a timely manner and responded well above any expectation. All of this, after hours, on a Saturday, for only 120.00. Any electrical issue I may have in the future, Paul will be the first call that I make. Just in the short time he was in our home, and through our talk while he worked, it was evident that he was more than a competent electrician, but an expert. I work in the construction industry as a project manager and I deal with sub contractors on a daily basis, Paul is the pure professional and extremely competent. I cannot say enough good things about this experience, I do not have one negative comment to make. GREAT JOB!

He brought all the materials and had a little trouble with how the builder did a few things (we have run into that ourselves), but made things work and ended up using less materials than expected since the builder did one room correctly from the start for the box being sturdy. He cleaned up the bits of wiring and smooted out the insulation in the attic very nicely. We have installed 2 of the 3 fans and the kids are enjoying better light and the bonus of a fan if needed, on separate wall switches.

I will use him in the future especially when it's time to replace and upgrade the electrical box.
