The first company I called came out spent 15 minutes and diagnosed a bad inducer motor. they showed me a I-pad estimate for replacing inducer motor totaling $1,057.00 and said they would deduct the $79.00 service fee upon instalation totaling $978.00. They never gave me a receipt I just signed their I-pad I had to call to request paper receipt. My long time friend rehabs houses and told me to call Comfort Doctors Heating & Cooling L.T.D. 614-762-7252. Eric with Comfort Doctors Heating & Cooling came out on time he did not charge me a sevice fee due to the first companies diagnosis, He still did a systems check on my heater to make sure first companies diagnosis was correct. He also found the inducer motor needed replaced and also found I had a 10 amp fuse going to my mother board to protect from power surge. He went online and showed me my heater with the required fuse not to exceed 5 amps to protect my computer board from frying if a power surge occures. he replaced fuse with required ampage saving me from future expenses and headaches. He replaced my inducer motor and fuse for $350.00. The only reason Eric did not charge service fee was due to the fact that I already paid the first company a serice check fee, however he still did a complete systems check to make sure first company did not miss any potential problems. He found the improper 10 amp fuse going to my computer board and changed it out with a 5 amp fuse, something the first company missed. Eric was very polite and dedicated to honesty. I would recomend using Comfort Doctors Heating & Cooling 614-762-7252. They are dedicated to honesty and saving their customers money ( they saved me $628.00 ). You can trust Comfort Doctors Heating and Cooling L.T.D. to do only the work requied to fix your heater and A/C. They are very trust worthy and honest and will not try to sell you or do any unnecessary work or replacement of parts not needed. My only regret is that I did not know about Comfort Doctors Heating and Cooling when my AC broke down two years ago. Please call them 614-762-7252 or E-mail [email protected] if you want honesty and integrity for any of your heating and cooling needs.
