The overall experience was very good. Everything checked out fine for our 14 year old system; there was no pressure to repair anything or warnings that anything needed to be replaced. I will definitely have them back.

Even though we have an old unit (1988), he said it was functioning as good as it could and recommended no more action. He did not try to sell any more services or suggest that we needed them. Overall, it was reassuring because we had not done anything to the AC unit in 14 years.

Other than having to wait for an appt due to response from other Angie's List members, they came on time and did the work efficiently. They also explained everything they were doing and offered some options for annual inspections. It is hard to tell whether they did it right or not. We'll see over time.

Ian was the technician who performed the work. He spent about an hour or so performing the work and inspecting the system. He was professional and very tidy / respectful of our home. No complaints about the quality of the service. The only slight negative was the length of time from the time I purchased the "deal" until we were scheduled. We purchased on 6/13 but the earliest service we were offered was 6/26 for "an Angie's Deal". It made me feel as though we were given lower priority since we purchased the deal. (I called prior to purchasing the deal to ask questions about their scheduling and company and was initially told they were scheduling appointments still for the same day for cleanings). It wasn't a big problem, though.

I will not say it was a good experience cause when they came out to do the job, they found my system was frozen. Meaning I had a problem. Well they couldnt do anything that day, cause it was frozen, but then they told me they had to charge me for that days visit. The guy spent 10 minutes at my house and wanted to charge me 90$. Saying they had to charge me for tge time it took them to come out and look at the system. i told him he was here for 5 minutes, why the full seevice cost? they said it was there policy to charge that. i felt extremely ripped off. The right thing to do would have been to not charge, and reschedule for another time. I would not reccomend this company at all! Then they ended up selling me an extended coverage plan on top of it. I should have just refused to pay the 90, but they did fix the problem next visit, and found the leak. But I don't feel happy with the way I was treated because its there policy.

Mike was polite and friendly. He helped me with a problem I had with my air conditioner in my attic. He went up and beyond his simple air conditioning check. After checking everything, he explained what I needed and what was in perfect working condition. I have never had a technician this thorough before. I would highly recommend this young man and this company to anyone looking for heating or air conditioning service.

It worked out well. I would use them again.

I was told the unit is in good shape so time will tell. The service man was polite, professional and cordial. He answered my questions. I do think five hours is a long span of time to have to be home. They do call before the arrive.

Mike J. came out promptly the next morning and he performed a thorough job of trying to detect where there was a leak. He was the first technician/company that ever attempted to do so as it involved removing a secured plenum door, which resulted in him having to make a new one for the unit, which will now be easily accessible for future services. Since he was unable to find a leak, he charged my unit and added Freon. Mike did a fantastic job at checking and cleaning my AC unit. I signed up for the special of having free inspections each year for my AC and furnace ($239), which covered the service charge for this visit as well.

Called before leaving Columbus to confirm, arrived on time, was personable, professional. Tech spent time explaining to my wife everything he found and his recommendations. Left a quote for a couple recommended repairs. Since the home is newly purchased and came with a home warranty, we'll be having the warranty company make the repairs, but otherwise we would have Worthington Air do the work.

.I purchased a Big Deal as a house warming gift for my son because his a/c didn't work. He mentioned he was going to fix it himself so I decided to give him this. Turns out he would not have been able to make the repair. It needed a capacitor. The cost of the part was $234. My son was very pleased and so was I. The representative was on time, professional and thorough.

Very friendly and professional. Refrigerant charge was high per pound ($100/pound) due to being "older" unit (10 yrs).

Ac was low on freon and a leak was found I inside in the unit. Cost to repair that leak was very high so technician suggested we just add freon. He felt leak wasn't large or freon would have been much lower. Unit is 11 years old.

Called ahead as promised with enough time to do last minute preparations (pets). Very pleasant technician, very professional yet personable manner. Completed the work quickly. Very courteous regrading disposal of the dirty filter.

I was very impressed with their scheduling department and their availability. The technicians were on time, professional and nice.

We had the system installed in October of 2012. The salesperson who sold us the unit never followed up with us after installation. I should have taken that as an omen. The unit was installed in the basement in such a fashion that is very difficult to remove the disposable filter. We had requested a humidifier similar to the one on the unit that was replaced. We were adivsed that it would be placed on the front of the unit allowing access for cleaning. It was placed on side where it is difficult to reach. The a/c unit (which was new in October and used minimally) has now stopped working. As a result, I have missed work to accomodate their Noon to 5 pm service window. I anticpated that company would be somewhat more expensive than other HVAC companies. However, I assumed that the additional cost would result in a better level of service and quality. I was wrong. I will be required to use the company while the unit is under warranty. However, I would NOT recommend this company to others.

He spent 2.75 hrs here and was very thorough and cleaned up after himself well. He checked all possible issues and determined we needed an R-22 recharge and it ended up being just over 3 lbs needed. System is 19 yrs old and appears to have a tiny freon leak which could not be found (part of copper tubing is in finished basement ceiling and I didn't want to rip it down. So the biggest cost was the R-22 ($390). I thought this was a great deal for the time and thoroughness of Mike J, the tech. First time we used Worthington Air but it likely is not the last.

They arrived early and removed the old air conditioner and installed the new air conditioner in a little over 2 hours. They also put in a carbon monoxide detector.

Would definitely recommend this deal to others. The technician was very professional and spent a good amount of time on the service and there was no additional cost to us outside of the Angie's list deal that we purchased.

They came for a special rate through Angie's ;list. The service specialist told me about a part that is weak and replaced the fuses. He was very informative and answered all my questioned very intelligently. They came earlier than scheduled at my request. Courteous and professional. They also have a service package that sounds like a good investment.

They were excellent to deal with and did a good job. Hopefully I don't have to but if necessary I would use them again.

The service was great. I originally had a conflict in my scheduling so we had worked it out and approximated when I would be home. When I did arrive home, I called them and they were there within 20 minutes. The man was very professional. He introduced himself right when he got here. He did some work on the thermostat, then went down and checked the furnace. Then he went outside to check the A/C, took a piece off so he could see the wiring, and even took a hose and cleaned the outside covering so it looks almost brand new. I would recommend them.

They were fine. They did well and were polite and professional.

Scheduled an appointment and they were tor arrive between 2:00 PM and 6:00 PM. Waited all afternoon, and then received a phone call around 5:20 stating that they were running "a little behind" but they would still be there. When I asked if a "little behind" meant 30 to 60 minutes, I was told that they were not sure how long it would be, and it would just depend on the other jobs they were doing. My family had other plans during the evening, so I could not afford to wait hours to see if they might show up at some point. I wasted my whole afternoon waiting for them! They should not schedule more appointments than they can handle in a timeframe, and if they know they are running behind, they need to give the customer more notice. I had high hopes for this company with all the positive reviews, however, I am very disappointed in my experience with this company.

They always do a great job. System is working great.
