Columbus Worthington Air

It was good. Actually our furnace broke down during Thanksgiving holiday week and so they were able to not only come out, give us a quote but they were able to install the same week before we had guests arrive. They are a little bit higher priced. They are more of a premium provider I would say but their service is worth it.

DEAD MOUSE WAS SHORTING CONDENSOR UNIT OUTSIDE. REMOVED MOUSE AND CLEANED. PRVIDED TWO SERVICE CONTRACTS (WE HAVE 2 HEAT PUMPS). REP WAS VERY FRIENDLY AND PROFESSIONAL.

The tech was prompt, called ahead, and showed up on time. He serviced the unit efficiently, and was very polite. We would recommend this company.

Well please with Columbus Worthington Air..... Unit was cleaned thoroughly. The AC needed a new Condenser. The AC Unit is 10 years old. We also purchased a Pre-Start kit to help protect the condenser..... Also, purchased a yearly maintenance contract...There was absolutely no pressure to purchase the contract or the condenser or the pre-start kit.... the options were presented and we said yea or new.... very professional and courteous technician.

They were superior, they were awesome. They had initially installed an air conditioner and furnace about 11 years ago.

A/C fan not working. Fan motor was stuck and kicked on when forced manually with a screwdriver. Technician indicated that motor may be going bad but did not twist my arm into buying a new motor since the unit was working after subsequent testing. He discussed some options with me including replacing the motor or eventually getting a new unit since this one is 16 years old. He also inspected and cleaned the furnace. Since I wasn't present at the time and only talked to him over the phone, he could have lied to me. Instead, I think he was honest with me about my options. I have found this company to be professional and fair in my past dealings with them. I have requested follow up appointment with their sales office to discuss new equipment and purchased their service plan.

The service specialists Nathan Parker came out on time, knew exactly what to do, did a very complete and professional job, and answered all of my technical questions about the 521 Hart Start Kit. He made detailed (electrical and mechanical) measurements, and provided a very clear and concise description of what was going on. After installing the 521 Hart Start Kit, he rechecked these measurements and it was clear that significant improvements had been made. I really appreciated this attention to detail and all the information he had. This company knows that such details are important. Everyone we dealt with at Columbus Worthington Air was first rate. We will most definitely use this company again.

I'm a little disappointed after all the time I've been with them well over 5 years that there is no customer loyalty discounts that are comparable to other providers. I know I'm going to need R22 freon and called around on pricing they were the second highest in the city per lb. the canisters sell for $380 for a 30 lb canister that's $13 per lb I know it takes special equipment and training all you'd think double would be adequate. No they want $130 a lb and if you do the contract the price is $103 a lb. Other providers are charging $57 -$80 per lb. Annual contract is more expensive overall almost $30 I really need to study this more before I sign a new contract. I was also looking at a new Lennox system which they are not a authorized dealer for.

Prompt, courteous, affordable. About what I expected. They came out the same day I called. Said my furnace was working fine, etc. etc. I'm glad I have peace of mind. This was the second time I've used Columbus Worthington Air, and I have no reason to stop.

Came on time and service went well.

They checked the furnace and made sure everything, like the system or the mechanical pieces of the furnace, was still working properly. It was a one man job. They were very punctual and very professional.

The service man was very prompt and courteous, no complaints there. However, I have had a contract with them the last 2 years so they come out Spring & Fall. Since I got the contract every time they came out they found a part that needed replaced in either the furnace or the AC. Each time it was $200.00. Seems odd to me that each part they replaced was $200.00 and that was supposed to be with a 10% discount for having a contract. I will not be renewing the contract, nor will I be using them in the future. A representative from Columbus Worthington contacted me 04/08/2015 and issued me a $100.00 refund. In addition to that he also extended and upgraded my plan for an additional 6 months.

The technician arrived on time, did a thorough job, and explained the results in detail. He even gave us a heads-up that our furnace is about to go out of warranty. We have had a service agreement with Columbus Worthington Air for several years and have always been pleased with their service.

It was good. They came after hours on a very cold night. Their service cleanup was fine. There were no issues.

Technician was professional and courteous. Job performed was good and also checked vents from duct work in basement to ensure flow was appropriate. Would use again.

The installation went fine except for one item: when installing a humidifier they did not install a water line correctly and had to return (which they did promptly) when it stared leaking.

The service was fine. He came out within a week or ten days after I purchased the Big Deal and there were no additional charge on top of what I paid for the Big Deal. He was alright, but he did not tell me a whole lot. Only one person came out. He was punctual and courteous. He was fine and the price was fine.

/17The young technician was friendly and personable, clearly knew what he was doing, and explained everything he was doing along the way. We were pleased enough to take out an annual service contract with the company on the spot.
