Columbus Worthington Air

It went okay. They did what they were supposed to do. It took a long time to get scheduling with them. I had to call them two or three times. They kind of kept dropping the ball so they weren't out until some time in December. They didn't charge anymore. I'd give them a C because of the scheduling problems. The price was fine. When they came, they were fine. They could have scheduled promptly like what usually happens when you use Angie's List deal. She had me on their system and couldn't really explain what went wrong.

As we are approaching the cold season, I wanted to make sure that my furnace was in good working order. I noticed a coupon for Columbus Worthington Air and thought it was a great deal. I made my appointment for Sunday, because they are open 7 days a week, which was perfect for my schedule. The serviceman who came to my house was very professional and friendly. It did not take long for him to do what he needed to do.

I purchased a Fall tune up through Angie's list in November. When I called the staff to schedule, I pulled up my work calendar to make sure that I pick a date (12/2) which would work and I booked my calendar as I spoke to the representative. I got a voicemail this morning(12/1) that service rep is on his way. I called them back and told the rep that they are sending someone a day ahead and I can't make it today. The response that I got and the tone made me write this review. The response that I got with the lousy tone is - I DON'T KNOW WHO SCHEDULED IT BUT IT IS TODAY. I start explaining how I scheduled and before I could finish, I hear BUT IT IS SCHEDULED FOR TODAY twice. Now, you know how would I feel. I ask, what do we do next as I can't make it today. the response is I DON'T HAVE ANYTHING UNTIL 20th without any concern that there was a mistake on scheduling. I had to run for a meeting and no time to continue with this person. So I said okay, schedule it as 20th is a Sunday. I did not rate the Quality of service yet but rated other attributes as I have already waited 2 weeks and I have to wait for 20 more days cos of their mistake. TERRIBLE!!!!

The technician was ontime, courteous and helpful. He was understanding that I had multiple service providers in the house at the same time, went to his work and explained everything when he was done. I will definitely use them again.

They were great. They found an issue with my furnace that was potentially life threatening. I was able to call my home warranty company and they confirmed the issue with their own provider and had it fixed. If it were not for CWA I would ave never known.

CWA has always been professional, reliable, and knowledgeable. Over the years they have given us good information about our heating/cooling system. I would not hesitate to call them again.

I purchased two furnace winter tuneups. I was contacted by Worthington Air the same day I purchased this deal from Angies List. I was then scheduled to have the service done in about two weeks in the future. Worthington Air sent me an email notice the day before the technician was scheduled. to inspect the furnaces. The time range was between 12-5 on Wednesday. The technician, Jamie Thompson arrived around 2:45 and finished the jobs around 4:40. He seemed very professional and was pleasant to talk to. He did use shoe coverings while inside our house. I like to get our heating systems checked at once a year and this particular Angie's List deal was a great deal.

I won't ever consider using another company for my HVAC needs. I chose Columbus Worthington Air to install a new furnace and air conditioner not because they were the lowest price but because they were the most knowledgeable and friendly. Todd the technician who came out to service my old furnace, pointed out valid reasons as to why I needed to replace my 21 year old system. He spent a lot of time explaining things to me. Later in the day John the sales consultant came to give me a quote. He was previously a technician and gave me his honest opinion when helping guide me through the selection process.He made sure I understood the differences between systems. I did call two other companies that were recommended by friends. The sales consultants agreed with Todd's assessment of my furnace but after they left I didn't feel I received enough information and even incorrect information. Because of Todd and John I knew what questions to ask and learned what to look for. The installation process went very smoothly. Josh, Jeff and the rest of the installation team were FANTASTIC! Very professional yet fun and considerate. They were in my home for over seven hours yet they made sure I felt comfortable with my new system before they left. I've had several bad experiences with other heating/cooling companies and truly am happy to have finally found an ethical well run company.!

I would use them in the future. They just call me half an hour before and they come in half an hour. They gave me a time frame between 9 and 1. They'll call you half an hour to tell you they'll be there in half an hour. Before 10, they were there.

The company gave a 20 minute notice that Julian was on his way. He got right to work. He turned up the thermostat so he could check various items on the furnace. He started cleaning the inside of the furnace and doing checks. He didn't mind that I wanted to literally stand behind him to watch and ask questions. He not only answered my questions but he gave suggestions that were understandable. He made sure my major concern was taken care of. I would hire this company again.

He called before arriving and arrived on time. Introduced himself and went straight to work. After he explained all what he did to the furnance and that is when he mentioned his concern over my water heater.

Kenny was awesome. He was incredibly polite and educated us on some issues our furnace is having. He presented us with a quote to get the motor replaced, but he didn't push it on us. We appreciated that. He also offered some suggestions to save money on our monthly bill gas & electric bills. The time frame we were given to have the inspection was 2pm-6pm. The dispatcher called at 5:30pm and said Kenny was on his way. He didn't arrive until 6:30pm, but he apologized profusely. I felt bad because they had him on a call in New Albany right before us, and we aren't close at all to New Albany. He had to fight the rush hour traffic to get to us, so I don't blame him at all for being late. Other than that, everything was great. We got reminders of our appointment, and it was fun listening to Kenny sing while he worked on our furnace :-)

I am so pleased with this company. I originally found them on Angie's List and have used them before. This time, the very old furnace quit working and another company was not available nor compassionate about our situation - to be sure that my 96 year old father had heat. From the moment that I called this company and spoke to Clint, I felt like a huge weight was lifted. He assured me that they could help us and would save a spot for installation on the very next day. On the same day he sent Brian over to measure, and determine the best furnace. He then explained the options to me and I chose a furnace. Brian was kind, answered all my questions, and was truly a wonderful sales person. Today was the day of installation. Josh and Nathan arrived and worked a miracle in a tiny space that is the furnace area. They worked so hard to attach the new duct work. Josh installed the new thermostat and carefully explained it to me. He was so kind and so patient with my questions and insecurities. He then took me to the furnace area and explained all the important aspects of the new furnace, including the new filter. He showed me how to open and close the furnace door, and even how to open the furnace door if that should ever be needed. He explained the tray and water sensor, and the air exchange places. He repeatedly asked if I had further questions, but, he had gone over everything very thoroughly. I highly recommend this company. From start to finish, they have done a wonderful job! We now have a furnace we can count on to keep my dad toasty and warm! Thank you to the people who answer the phone at this company, too. Your cheery voices and reassuring words really helped when I was in the process of changing companies to perform the work. I needed a company to responsibly show up and do the work- and this company did great! Thank you to Clint for the reassurance that they could take care of our problem. Thank you to Brian for the informative sales meeting and especially a big thanks to the team of Josh and Nathan who did the very hard work. I told them that the furnace room was cleaner when they left than before they arrived! I am very grateful!

The service man was prompt, professional and thoroughly cleaned the systems. He answered my questions and didn't try to sell me anything I don't need. They provided the same service last year. I have always had wonderful service from Columbus Worthington Air.
