Description of Work: He checked the furnace and filter,humidifier,cleaned parts etc.made sure everything was in working order.Was very polite,clean and got the job done in timely manner.

Description of Work: Found (and showed me) multiple cracks in the heat exchanger. Had to shut off gas to furnace while new exchanger was on order. Came back on my schedule and replaced faulty part ... hassle free service!

Description of Work: I took advantage of the heating system checkup that was offered. The tech came when promised and did a very thorough job of checking my heating system. He was very professional. I would recommend Columbus Worthington Air to anyone.

Description of Work: He arrived on time and performed the check as expected. My daughter was there (33 years old) because I was with her son at grandparents day at school. She reported that the the worker was pushy and rude. She felt like he was trying to sell services instead of just performing a routine check. "He must be paid on commission for doing repairs," was her comment to me.

Description of Work: We bought the service contract because we needed a part for the air conditioning unit and we got a discount on parts and labor. The only time we have had trouble with this company is once they did routine check of furance and said it had carbon monoxide and turned off gas in middle of winter . We questioned it and had another company come out and they said everything was fine. When I reported it to Worthington Air, they said the tester must have not been calibrated properly or broken. But if we would have done what they wanted we would have needed a new furnace!!

Description of Work: We have a annual contract with Columbus Worthington Air and scheduled an appointment with them for our "winterizing". Shane came out and, in the process of checking out our furnace, discovered that the air conditioner was competing with the furnace to modulate the temperature in the house. He couldn't fix the problem at that time, so he disconnected the air conditioner and suggested that the thermostat was causing the mixed signals. After he left, I contacted the thermostat folks who walked me through a series of diagnostics and determined that their unit was faulty. They sent me a new one, and I contacted Columbus Worthington Air and requested a re-visit from Shane. He came out, as scheduled, and hooked up the new thermostat. It works perfectly now, and I am quite satisfied with his professionalism and demeanor. I highly recommend Columbus Worthington Air.

Description of Work: Jaimie Thompson was our serviceman. He was excellent and proactively shared his knowledge with us. This was our first pre winter season inspection.

Description of Work: I contacted this company to perform a furnance tune-up, I'll admit that my equipment was old (approx. 21 yrs.). The technician began to look at the furnance and immediately said that there was to much rust and to many cracks on the heat exchanger, and therefore he could not perform the service and he turned off our gas and said that we would need to have repairs done before it could be turned back on. The technician then was very fast to offer to have a salesman contact us to sale us a new furnace. We contacted our home warranty company to have them come give us a 2nd opinion. Our technician said that there was some rust but he did not see any cracks that prevented us from being able to use our furnance. He agreed that it would need to be replaced soon but not immediately. He turned our gas back on and we finished out the "cold" season without any problems. I felt that the previous technician tried to sell us something we didn't need. The money I spent was a service contract prior to him looking at my furnace.
