The initial installation was done in a timely manner. My windows came with a lifetime warranty. After a little over three years the inside window pane of my picture window developed a crack coming from under the frame. According to the warranty I received from Vista I was to call Columbus for repair. I have tried calling Columbus Window Company for over a month; no one every answers their phone. I have left my number and the reason for my call and yet I received no reply.
As per written warranty Vista Windows said that if unable to contact the contractor to contact them for repair. I have called Vista and was told since Columbus Window Company is still one of their customers they would have to repair the window. I explain that Columbus Window Company has failed to return telephone call. I was told by Tia Rollins that she would get with Columbus Window Company and get back with me. It has been over a week and I am still waiting.
It appears that they warranty given by Columbus Window / Vista is not worth the paper it is written on since they fail to return calls.
The installer came when he said he would and all went as was contracted for.
