We had our locks changed in advance of my husband leaving for vacation. He did not properly install the lock on the sliding glass door, which we agreed was fine. He said you didn't have the patience for it and would send another technician. This was perfectly okay. I was okay with this because we thought the only problem was a key wouldn't lock it. The new technician said he'd schedule a time to come out when my husband returned from vacation. Also okay. My husband left last night. Today I discovered the door doesn't even latch from the inside. It just doesn't lock. I called a guy around 7 who claims to be Michael Crum and explained the situation. He was extremely rude and badgering- I cannot stress how unprofessional he was. He finally said he'd come out by 10. I call at 9 to see if he's going to be on time. He says he's not coming and is just awful. I am alone in my house with a nonfunctional lock. Not to be blunt but this is how- at worst- women get raped and murdered and- at best- property gets stolen.

It was an urgent situation as my mother was mugged, and her identification and house keys were stolen. When I called Mr. Keys, he quickly understood the situation and came out immediately. He quickly re-keyed all the locks on the property insuring the safety of my parents while still giving them the convenience that all their locks still worked with the same key. He was a life saver.

Not good. To his credit, he found what I think was a pretty obscure part for the 30 year old lock set my front door. The back door needed a new lock set and deadbolt. The first lock set he installed was no good. It would jam. He came back out and put in a better lock set and it’s fine. The deadbolt installation was no good. Did not bother to rout out the wood in the door frame to make the strike plate flush. The screw used on the strike plate seem a little lightweight for the job. Before he leaves, he asks you to go through a 3 ring binder of business cards of people I assume he networks with. Kind of odd, I thought.

It went great! Frank was here the same day I called. We were originally going to just rekey the locks, but after seeing how old and obsolete they were, Frank suggested that we get all new locks and knobs. I'm so glad we did; they look and work so much better now. He was so very polite and professional and did a wonderful job. We are very satisfied and would recommend him to anyone who needs a locksmith.

Fantastically!! This provider was recommended approx. 25 years ago when I first acquired house. Frank did a great job. He came within ten minutes. The job took about an hour. The door knob (with a lock), was much more solid than the type that you can find at a hardware store. I would definitely call Frank again.
