COLUMBUS HOME PC

I had called Columbus Home PC after seeing good reviews on this list. My computer was running very slow. When Bill picked up my computer, he told me he would call me before he did any work. He didn't. I found out after he returned my computer that my hard drive had been wiped clean. It had a virus from what Bill said. I lost information that I had saved on AOL, onto my computer. Since he didn't call me before, taking the easy way out of removing a virus, I also lost valuable information I had saved from years of research that was on my hard drive. He did save what was shown on the desk top, a few documents, some excel spreadsheets and an access database, that I also use for research. Also, he saved my 2 research programs that were on the desktop with the info. I am now not able to get onto the provider I had, as before, to retrieve other information. On my internet site, he cleaned my web browser, need say they did need to be cleaned, but he didn't ask which one's I wanted to save. I also am not able to download my printer onto my computer, I haven't even tried my scanner yet. It will probably now cost me triple to get my computer repaired correctly, not to mention trying to recover what was lost. He should not have taken the easy way out to remove a virus, by wiping out my hard drive and reformatting it. Also, I called him several times, he never responded to my calls.

Bill has been able to solve every problem.

Bill is fantastic! He is very thorough, honest, hard-working, nice, and very reasonably priced. Bill came out to our home within a couple of days of contacting him. He was very thorough, took his time to check the problem, fixed the problem, and gave us information about getting our system to run better / faster. We definitely need to / want to clean up our hard drive. We don't have time to do it now; but when we do, we'll be sure to call Bill!
