COLUMBUS DISPATCH

On May 1, 2019, I renewed my subscription for 52 weeks of Sunday Only delivery of the Columbus Dispatch. I did not receive my newspaper on 8/18/19, so I called them to report it. They told me that my subscription was up because I had also received "premium" editions with my subscription. They did not tell me about this "premium" when I renewed. My newspaper should have been $1.59 per week, but because of the "premiums", it ended up costing me $5:51. per week!! My 52 week subscription that I paid for only lasted 15 weeks!!! This is a deceitful practice and a total scam!!!

We called and they said they would have the newpaper by the afternoon... We still never got the newspaper...

I began my subscription with the dispatch about 4 months ago. I was approached @ the grocery store and asked to join, I really like t he coupons in the sunday edition so i agreeded. My deliveries started out okay. My paper would be in the middle of the yard, not on the stoop so you don't have to walk out in the snow. then one sunday, no paper. i worked early that day so I did not have a chance to call in until the next day. After calling I was told I would recieve a redelivery and a credit. Well I did recieve the credit but the actual paper never came. I decided to continue my subscription with the thought that this would not be an ongoing problem. Afterall it's only a sunday delivery. So here I am again 3 weeks later on sunday morning with no paper. I doubt I will continue my subscription, i can just buy a paper once a week, and it'll be on time everytime!

We subscribed to the paper for years but when times got a little tough we decided to cancel our subscription. Four cancelation requests, six phone calls and more than six months later we are still receiving notices. We paid a late notice which according to the paper restarted our subscription even though the notice said it was for a past due for services rendered. Then we canceled again but the paper kept coming. We canceled again and were promised it was taken care of and yet we received another past due notice for services rendered. At this point, isn't this harassment? What a horrible experience - no wonder they are struggling.

Contantly missing papers.... Delivery was totally irradic... I would read the news online well before I got the newspaper... Overall a great example of a company going bankrupt....

I have subscribed to get the Sunday paper. I'm not a big paper person but love my coupons! I read a lot of the news online and enjoy the online subscription of the Dispatch for my weekly news updates. I recently added Columbus Alive, Columbus Monthly and Columbus Homes Magazines as a part of my subscription. Now I won't miss anything going on in Columbus.

Although I really appreciate the delivery team who walk the yards at 4am and make sure they make it to my front door step!

Excellent advertisement, wrong day. The account representative listed below later called today (4/11/08) to ask if I'd received a copy of the Home & Away section. They deliever to my door which is very nice, keeps the paper dry.
