I chose Jan Benadum to list my cabin for a few months on the Columbus MLS, where there might be more buyers for a weekend property.
The Benadum team went down to visit my cabin and made a promo video of the cabin and property, which was very nicely done.
They provided a lock box and informed me about showings, inspections, etc.
All paperwork, inspection, negotiations, and closing were accomplished in a reasonable time frame without any hassle or major complications.

Karen Armstrong is a wonderful real estate agent. Three days after she had listed the condo, the condo was in contract at close to the listing price, and the closing occurred a little over 2 weeks later. The reason the place sold quickly was the advice and help from Karen. She knew the market. Since I was operating long distance and coming to Upper Arlington for only one week to clear out my stuff, her assistance in getting the condo ready to go on the market was invaluable. Having also used her as a real estate agent 6 years previously, I deferred to her judgement for the most part. She lives in one of the other condos in the same condo complex, and one of our neighbors had said during the downturn in the housing market, that Karen was the only agent successful in getting these condos sold.
In checking off that I would use her again, I mean that I would recommend her to others.

This process couldn't have been better! Jenny went above and beyond! She took us around a large number of houses (she did not pressure us in any way while we were looking, but she did point out a LOT of really important things such as leaks, or cracks etc.). When we landed on a house she helped us set up a home inspection (the person she suggested was excellent), a radon inspection and a termite inspection. She also helped us negotiate the price of the house with the sellers, and I have complete confidence in the fact that she was working entirely for us! She successfully helped us negotiate the price down by about 6% of the asking price! She was in constant contact with us on all fronts, she was very on the ball and organized. We never felt that she was going to miss a deadline or forget to do something. She even graciously reminded us to do things that we had forgotten to do! As we were purchasing the house from out of state, she also offered to handle the walk through for us so that we didn't have to get on a plane, she was instrumental in facilitating our closing from a distance (she kept in constant contact with the bank and title company for us!) and she has even been kind enough to open the door for an alarm company so that we could have an alarm system installed after we had purchased the house! While she was there to let in the alarm people she noticed that we had received some time sensitive mail (the water meter reading card, etc.) and scanned them to us, and even offered to call the electric company for us (an electric pole is gently leaning on the roof of the house). This truly couldn't have been a better experience! Jenny did so much beyond what was required of her! We don't even know how to begin to thank her!
