He never over charges, very friendly, and does really good work.  I would highly recommend his services to others.  A very honest man.  He is very responsive and accommodating as far as scheduling.

They were super great. He was affordable. He was nice and neat and cleaned up after himself. My husband has used him for his business.

We have an exceptionally deep pit, so Paul built a new base and put the pump back correctly. He also installed a back up pump that works when the power goes off. Who knew? Worked like a charm when the power was off. Brilliant!

I've worked with Paul Doherty at Coldiron Plumbing for at least ten years both at my home and rental property. He's a very trustworthy, reliable plumber. I have a lot of confidence in him and his work.

Paul worked efficiently and quickly in replacing the unit. He made sure everything was set up properly and verified that there were no leaks or issues.
The original equipment was an off brand that is really difficult to find parts for and when we bought replacement parts they didn't work as expected. This replacement from Moen is perfect!

Paul arrived on time and proceeded to the problem. The drainpipe was sawed off and replaced with a PVC pipe with appropriate connectors (not Fernco but better). He had to bust up concrete and dig to pipe that was solid in order to connect. He was exceptionally clean as I has expected to be cleaning cement dust from everything but that wasn't necessary. I am really impressed by Paul's professionalism and skill. I will definitely use him again and have already suggested him to other neighbours.

He is a very young guy, that is prompt, and reasonably priced. He responds very quickly. The office will call him on his cell phone and then he will call you. He may be on a job already but will get to you as soon as he can. I have used him for about ten years. I was recommended to him by my brother.

He was very prompt, neat and clean. A pleasant person to deal with. I go on first impressions. When he pulled up I noticed his very clean truck which I knew would reflect on the quality of his workmanship.

He was honest and said if it was a sewer problem he did not have the equipment to fix it. It ended up being a back-up in the plumbing so he was able to do the repair. He was extremely neat and cleaned up very well. He is very friendly and professional. I thought the price was reasonable.

He is a very gracious person. He may charge a little more but his work is excellent and he's very pleasant.

Job 1: He tends to be very busy. You might have to get in line. He is very good, very knowledgeable and he knows what he is doing. Job 2: We've used them many times and they are very good. He is a third generation plumber and really knows what he's doing. They are a family run business, so they may be a little slower to respond, but we did not need them right away, and that worked out fine for us. He's very conscientious of cost and will contact you before spending your money.

Referred to ColdIron by Heinmiller Plumbing since Mr. Heinmiller was recovering from shoulder surgery. Paul Doherty did an EXCELLENT job, very focused and worked quickly. Very pleasant person. Good ethics. Stated he would only do plumbing if Mr Heinmiller was unable (physically) to work as he did not want to take his business away from him.

THE SHOWER HEAD PIPE BROKE OFF LEAVING THE THREADS INTACT IN THE PIPE FROM THE WALL. THEY METICULOUSLY SAWED THROUGH THEM TO REMOVE THEM, THUS SAVING US HAVING THE WALL TORN OUT AND PIPING REPLACED.

HE WAS EXTREMELY NEAT, WORKED QUICKLY, AND CALLED ME BACK WITHIN AN HOUR, VERY QUICK RESPONSE TIME. HE CALLED AHEAD TO LET ME KNOW HE WAS ON HIS WAY.

HE IS VERY PROFESSIONAL. HE KEPT THE WORK AREA CLEAN AND HE CLEANED UP AFTER HE WAS FINISHED. HE REALLY KNOWS HIS STUFF AND DISPLAYS MUCH EXPERTISE.

I HAD TO UNPLUG IT TO KEEP IT FROM BURNING UP, BUT COULD STILL OPERATE IT MANUALLY TO DRAIN WATER. PAUL DAUGHERTY IS OWNER OF COLDIRON PLUMBING and I LEFT MESSAGE WITH HIS DAD ON FRIDAY. IT RAINED THE ENTIRE HOLIDAY WEEKEND SO I WAS AFRAID I WOULDN'T GET PROMPT SERVICE BECAUSE I WAS NOT REQUESTING EMERGENCY REPAIRS. I WAS SURPRISED TO HEAR FROM PAUL BY 9AM TUESDAY MORNING SAYING HE WOULD BE AT MY HOME IN ABOUT AN HOUR and A HALF. HE TOLD ME OF THE CONSEQUENCES OF REPAIRING THE OLD PUMP and SUGGESTED HE REPLACE IT WITH A NEW ZOELLER. HE CONSIDERS THIS THE BEST BRAND ON THE MARKET. HE NOT ONLY REPLACED THE SUMP PUMP, BUT ALSO CLEANED ALL THE GARBAGE OUT OF THE SUMP PIT ACCUMULATED BY THE PREVIOUS HOMEOWNER. YUK! HE ALSO KNEW SOME EXTRA STEPS RECOMMENDED BY THE MANUFACTURER THAT ARE REQUIRED, LIKE DRILLING AN EXTRA VENT HOLE IN THE TUBE. HE HAD A GREAT PERSONALITY and WAS DONE WITHIN AN HOUR. I AM VERY PLEASED. PAUL DAUGHERTY SEEMS TO PREFER DOING REPAIRS FOR MANY PEOPLE THAN DOING LARGE CONSTRU

PAUL IS THE NICEST, NICEST GUY. WHEN EVER I HAVE A PLUMBING PROBLEM HE IS THE ONLY ONE I CALL. THEY WERE PROMPT AND REASONABLY PRICED.
