Scott responded promptly to my initial email. Removing the old microwave went smoothly, but Scott ran into trouble when the template for drilling the anchor bolts turned out to be for a different model. Then the bolts that Sears provided were the wrong size. After tracking down the right size, the housing that was supposed to anchor the bolt inside the microwave's case broke loose, so Scott had to take the underside of the case off and tighten the bolt from below. What we first thought was a straightforward swapping of one microwave for another became a complicated job that required two sessions. But at each hurdle, Scott found a way around, and perservered to the end. Thank you!

Our front steps were in need of a wood railing, and a lower set of steps had a loose metal railing. Scott Kime talked with me about various options for the metal railing (repair or replace), and also about matching the style of the front wood railing with the one we have at the back stairs. He was knowledgeable, patient, and easy to talk to. We agreed on the work -- constructing, painting, and installing a wooden railing (I decided to hold off on the metail railing). Once we had a dry weekend, the work was done quickly and well. We now have a very solid, sturdy railing.

Scott came over for an initial walk through of the 3 tasks we wanted him to work on. In a matter of a couple days he had an estimate for us. The price seemed fair and we told him to get started. He had a few other projects to finish up and wanted to get them out of the way before starting ours, so we had to wait a week before he could get started. None of our issues were pressing, so it didn't matter to us. i appreciated the fact that he wanted his full attention on our projects. The work on all three tasks was completed in about 2 days. He was fast and worked during the day while we were at work. He even provided us different costs for different kinds of woods for the support columns. He was a little off on the cost of pine, and we had to pay a little more in the end, but the work he completed is solid and good quality. My only other complaint would be that he didn't clean up any of the saw dust and wood chips on and around the porch. Scott was very responsive via phone and email. He never left us hanging. I would definitely hire him again.

Mr. Kime was very professional, curteous, and knowledgeable. He offered suggestions to both improve efficiency while lowering costs. He was flexible in scheduling and highly sensitive to the family (kids, adults, and dog) above him while he worked.
