CHASE MORTGAGE

This is the statement of my husband but I was there throughout the whole process of ordeal and I also advised him: "The originator convinced me to up my points from .125 to one point which I reluctantly agreed. The process was quick until the appraisal was done. At that point I was unable to contact my originator for weeks. I left a phone message and emails (which up to this point I saved my line of communications with him.) He sensed that I was desperate calling him. Finally he called me and saying that my upfront amount of money is $8000.00, not the one point we talked about. The appraised value of the house was 475,000.00 and I was applying for a 380,000 refinancing mortgage. I almost had an acid reflux then due to stress and helplessness. The game of waiting wore me down. I decided not to go with this painful experience and lost my application fee of $395.00"

We found Chase through the real estate agent that helped me buy the house. They offered us a 6% fixed interest rate, which I think is pretty fine. The sitting down and negotiating experience with them was good.
