Have had Char's help for several years. Our cat is a sweet, three legged rescue and going to a kennel would frighten him. Char is completely reliable and concerned about his welfare. She is the best cat sitter I have had, just terrific!

I have been fortunate to be using Char for almost 10 years now.  She treats my animals like her own; they adore her as well.  Char is extremely reliable and observant with respect to my animals' health and behavior.  I never worry about the critters when I know Char is on the job!!

I first started using Char to watch my cat when we would be gone for weekends (Char loves cats).  Not only did she do a great job with our cat, but we got some really great pictures that she took of him.  We then became the proud parents of a rescue greyhound that needed daily visits during the work week and Char took on that responsibility.  Char made daily visits for a couple of years before our schedules changed.  She now will pop in whenever we need her help. 

Char is very conscientious and I do not believe she ever missed a visit in all the years that we needed her services.  The pets get little treats and surprise toys as well.  It is a relief to know that we can rely on her when we need support for our pets.

Char is truly amazing!  She loves cats and is so good with them!  I never worry when I travel because I know that "Auntie" Char is taking good care of my kitties.  Char is also a wonderful pet photographer and many times while I'm away she'll send me photos of my cats.  Seeing pictures of my little guys while I'm gone is a wonderful gift!  I strongly recommend Char and her pet sitting business!  If you're looking for piece of mind when you travel, call Char and she'll take care of your pets as if they were her own!

Char provided pet sitting for my 2 cats while I was on vacation.  Char is very reliable, which is critical since one cat must take seizure medication every day and has some complicated health issues.  I can tell that Char genuinely loves cats and I know that they will be well cared for when I'm gone.

Char has an excellent way with cats, and it shows on her website where she posts photos of cats while you're away. Very happy with this service and will use again in the future.

Char is the BEST!!!!!! I could not have been happier or had more peace of mind knowing Char was taking care of my furry children and watching over my home. If I could rate her with 100 stars I would!

It went great. Char sent me a picture of Tedi sitting on her lap. This may sound normal, but it was quite unusual for Tedi. Tedi hisses at anyone (except for me) who gets too close to her or attempts to pet/touch her. The fact that Tedi felt comfortable enough with Char to get that close to her is astounding. This says more for Char's expert ability and calm demeanor with cats than anything I could say.

Prior to hiring Char, Char came to my house and met my cat, Tedi. She observed her behavior and listened to me explain Tedi's personality traits (so importantly different with cats). Char understood immediately that Tedi would have to warm up to her slowly...Char was calm and let Tedi come to her. It still amazes me.  Char truly loves cats, and she is the best pet sitter I have ever had.  Thank you Char, I'm glad I found you.

Char was absolutely amazing!  She would send text messages and pictures every day she checked in on the girls - that gave me piece of mind and allowed us to enjoy our vacation and not worry (as much) about the furry kids.  I will definitely use Char's services again in the future!

My cats LOVE this sitter (I do too). They are afraid of most people and they are not afraid of her. They greet her at the door now and know that she is someone who cares about them. I have been using this sitter for several years during our vacations and think she is very professional and cares a great deal about my pets. She even texts me pictures of them during my vacation to let me know they are okay! She also confirms with with me a day or two before I come back from vacation to inquire about the exact time I will arrive home to be sure that my pets are not left for a long period of time. I would highly recommend this sitter.

Char is fantastic!!!!  I found Char several years ago on Angie's List.  After doing a lot of research I decided to ask Char if she could kitty sit for us, as she had the best ratings in Columbus!    She has been the perfect fit for us and our cats.  We have three rescue cats and they all love Char.  Puck is very shy and hides every time someone comes into our house...but not with Char!  Frankie can be a bit mischievous and do a little damage when we're gone for a day, but remarkably no damage when Char comes to visit :-)  Stormy loves affection...Char gives her plenty of affection as well as to the other cats!!!  When I first met Char, you could immediately feel the passion she has for animals.  She is caring, gentle and plays with the kitties.  She sends us pictures and updates when we are away.  Char makes us aware of any concerns and is very helpful when we need advise on kitty issues.  And to top it off she is an excellent photographer...she has taken amazing pictures of our cats!  I would highly recommend Char if you need someone who is responsible and loving to your animals!!!!

 "sit4you" link.  Well I then called Char the owner of "sit4you" to sum it up she was amazing to talk to.  She let me know in no uncertain terms if this was a one time service I needed she was not interested!! Initially I was put aback by her response...However, as she went on to explain was that she was a genuine cat lover and that it was very important to her that she not only develop a relationship with the cats/kittens she sat for but also the "parents"  of the cats/kittens she was setting for!!  As I noted earlier in this review is that all three of my cats are rescue cats.  One of which, Tag, is a true feral cat.  Tag is petrified by anyone who knocked  on my door.  As soon as someone approached and/or knocked on my door Tag would take off like a bat out of h***...He would find a hiding pace behind the washer or upstairs in a bedroom closet under luggage that was stored in there.  Whenever I had a guest come over he would NEVER come out of hiding until my guest left.  When Char came over for the initial interview, I explained to her that she would come into contact with Cole and black Jack, but rest assure that she would NEVER see or come in contact with Tag.  I explained to her his background and to not too worry if she never came into contact with him. Well as I was away for almost a month, Char was great about keeping  me informed by sending emails, texts and photo's almost on a daily bases.  Well...by day 5 to my utter amazement and shock Char sent me a photo of Tag sitting on her lap!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!   I was in total disbelief!!  As time went on she continued to send me pics and text updates on how my three babies were doing.  She continued to bond with Tag as evident by the pics of her and him interacting very affectionally!  I could go on and on about how pleased I was and continue to be about Char and her cat setting services.  If you are looking for a qualified, dependable and lovable cat/kitten setter Char is the person you want to hire. She is absolutely AMAZING!!!

She spends time with our cats when she comes. She does more than feed them and clean their box. She plays with them and shows them attention. She also checks the house to make sure everything is secure. She'll take pictures of them and send updates to us while were gone. We use her all the time! We have been using her for about 7 years. We have had a couple of emergency situations where we have needed to leave quickly and we won't know when we'll be back. I contact her and she responds immediately and is able to come out the next day. She is extremely dependable. She has responded in other emergency situations as well. She has been watching our cats before when it storms and she has cleaned up branches that fell from the storm. She truly goes above and beyond!

Char ?The Cat Whisperer? - When we moved to Columbus a year and a half ago, one of our biggest priorities was finding a pet sitter who would come take care of our kitty when we traveled (which was pretty often at the time).  After reading reviews here on Angie?s list, we found Char. She was the first and only pet sitter we needed to talk to.  Sure, she?s responsible, totally dependable, and easy to reach ? better yet, when we?re gone, Char takes care of our cats with the same love that we do when we?re home. She watches out for the basics (food, water, litter box), but also plays and gives them loads of affection. You can tell that she loves what she does; it?s reflected by how she often goes above and beyond for her clients. For example, Char has helped us out of a few binds when we?ve been delayed returning home because of weather and car trouble.  When we brought home a new cat last year, Char even came over to help coax our new shy buddy out of the carrier and integrate him into our home. She took some awesome pictures, too!  Speaking of those pictures, Char always sends the most fantastic pictures and updates on our kids when we are out of town, which helps put us at ease. Not that we?re worried since we know they are in great hands.

Char has been our pet sitter for about five years. At one time we had eight cats and three of them had special needs: one was diabetic and needed an insulin injection twice a day; another was asthmatic and needed an inhaler, another was hyperthyroid and needed a pill crushed into her food. Char had previous experience with all these needs. In fact, she informed me about how to test my diabetic cat myself, instead of taking him to the vet regularly which was a trauma for everybody, and probably didn't yield a proper reading on his glucose since he was very stressed by being put in a carrier and hauled off to the vet and stress causes elevated glucose.

I was super impressed with Char from the start because after her first stint while we were away on vacation, she knew all the cats' personalities, their likes and dislikes, she sent us videos by email. In recent years she has become a professional pet photographer and she took some award winning pictures of our kitties.  She brings special treats and toys for the cats, and spends  extra time with the ones that need it. For example, she may curl up with Henry, who needs extra affection.

Char truly loves cats and does a lot of volunteer work for various shelters in Columbus. Thanks to Char, we don't feel guilty about going away on vacation and leaving the cats in her hands for extended periods. She is very observant and knows a lot about cats and can really pick up on any behaviors or changes that might need attention. There is no one more conscientious or caring than Char. She is a real gem!

Char is a wonderful and loving person and I'm delighted to work with her.

Overall experience was great. After meeting With Char the first time I felt very comfortable with her. I contracted with her on the spot and felt secure in knowing MissKit would receive the attention she needed over an extended time frame.

The service has been awesome. They do a great job. Both of our animals are happy to see her when she comes.

Char visited with all of our cats for about an hour (with us present) prior to our vacation.  She asked lots of questions and was able to pet all of them (even the shy ones) by the end of the visit.  She sent daily updates via email, sometimes with photos and video clips.  These emails made it possible for us to relax and enjoy our vacation.  I was worried about whether or not she would be able to give my cat his pill, but she has lots of experience with this, so she was able to make it happen every day.  I'm so glad that we found Char.  If you leave your cats with Char, you'll know they're in good hands.  She's the best!

Char is quite loving and caring with our animals.  We have an older cat and he has warmed up to her!  Something he doesn't do with many strangers. We felt quite comfortable having her care for our animals while we were gone.  She then also came in to give my one dog a pill when I had to work and leave them out.  This was a short notice as we had a family emergency an d my husband had to be out of town.

Char is amazing! From the moment my cats laid eyes on her, it was love at first sight. Even my very shy male cat bonded with her at once. She has a gift of being able to truly connect with animals and it is very obvious that she loves them. I was thrilled to hear from her through daily texts and photos of my cats. When I returned home, they were happy and content. It was more than obvious that they were extremely well taken care of. I can't recommend Char highly enough. She is truly wonderful.
