Customer immediately notified supplier (Paul Vollmer) who state he would be out on Friday, then stated his father ?Gus? would be out on Saturday or Monday (None of these occurred) After many calls over the weekend I got a hold of (R. Glaze) We identified all issues under the issues section below. (R. Glaze acknowledges that he was surprised that the work had been done in one day stating ?You are telling me this was done in one day? The Digging, gravel, flexible board, steps and landing, and the pouring and stamping of the concrete?? The Customer replied ?Yes, this was done in one day, and they did everything except digging, they (supplier?s workforce) did not dig.? ? As a result of this segment of work being done in One Day (originally we were told it would take 2 to 3 days to digout the sod/dirt, lay the gravel, pour the patio, create the steps and landing, and stamp the wet concrete.) ? On July 21st the supplier?s workforce sealed the concrete, but did not fix any edging, and concrete was still adhered to the vinyl siding panels, and aluminum window trim. Also when supplier?s workforce power washed, some wood was stripped from back door. Issues: We have pictures for many of the following issues upon your request. 1.) Sod/Dirt was not removed. (We contracted for this service as well, and it was not delivered) 2.) As a result of suppliers failure to dig customer is able to see rocks above ground line from across the yard. Visually displeasing. 3.) Gravel base was supposed to be 4 inches, it is only 2 inches. This will create foundation issues. (We contracted for this service as well, and it was not fully delivered) 4.) Vertical Face of patio is cracking, and has many holes. Vertical edge looks like it has been shot with a shotgun, obviously this was not done, but I am trying to help visualize the image, I have pictures if necessary. 5.) The finished vertical edge also has inconsistent color? It appears to have received the color that was applied on the surface in some areas, but is completely bear in others. 6.) Steps and Landing are not fully finished, and corners are chipped. 7.) Chunk missing in concrete where patio meets stairs. 8.) Suppliers contractors did not follow agreed upon patio design. 9.) Irrigation system head is buried by concrete patio. Cost $25 to $30 for new head plus five labor hours from our irrigation system company. (5hours X $45 per hour)= $225. Total cost to fix/repair is $250. We would not have had to replace the sprinkler head or move the head if this had not been buried. (If this irrigation system is tunneled out, and replaced with gravel, the base will not be as compact as it was, and may lead to structural integrity issues/cracking of the patio.) 10.) Concrete Adhered to vinyl siding, and windows/screens and concrete dust/splash on aluminum window trim
