Initial contact and consultation with Sarah for custom blind installation went well, but had a bad experience with installation. The man who arrived to install our blinds (during a pandemic) was not wearing a mask and did not offer to wear a mask in our home, despite the fact that we were wearing masks. Then he informed us that 3 of the 5 blinds we had ordered did not fit our windows and would need to be re-ordered. This would be annoying at any time, but was especially annoying during a pandemic when I am at high-risk and we are trying to limit the number of people who enter our home. He left very quickly, did not apologize for the inconvenience, and did not offer to put the original blinds back in the windows for us. This was on a Friday morning, we called into the office that afternoon and were told we would receive a call-back. Instead, we did not receive any communication until Monday via email. There was no offer for a discount or anything for the mistake that was made. Sarah offered to drop off paper shades for the windows, but at that point it had been 3 days and we had already re-installed the original blinds in the windows ourselves. Several weeks later, we received the new blinds. Yet again, the man who arrived to install the blinds was not wearing a mask, even though I had asked Sarah to ensure that whoever came to the house had a mask. He did get a mask from his truck when we asked and was nice about it, but there is a mask mandate in Franklin County and therefore we shouldn't have to ask. Overall not impressed with the customer service.

I have had the pleasure of working with Krista Guagenti for my last 3 homes. I have known Krista for the past 5 years and have referred her to anyone needing window treatments. She is very creative and the choices of products are extensive and the prices are reasonable. I highly recommend Krista, her attention to detail from the beginning to the installation process is unmatched.

The hardest part was deciding among the many options. We went with room darkening cordless blinds that look and operate great. We paid extra so the blind's trim to match our woodwork and they look really good. You can't tell they are there when the blinds are up and they look great and block out the sun when they are down. We worked with Derek D. who was very easy to work with. No pressure and good with answering questions.

The service was great. The intial blinds were measured a bit short, however the company ordered new ones and got them installed in a quick and timely manner.

The sales rep and installer were both very personable and knowledgeable. The only problem was that I ordered blinds for the bedroom that opened both bottom up and top down. When I checked them after installation, they only opened bottom up. I told the installer, and he checked the order and verified that they should have opened top down. The sales rep called me a few days later and said I could keep the blinds and he would refund me the extra I paid to have them open top down or he could place the correct order. I asked him to please order the ones I wanted. He told me it would take a couple of weeks for the new blinds to arrive, but it actually took a month. The blinds are in now, and they are very nice. I just wish they had gotten it right the first time, and I felt that they should have offered me some type of compensation for the inconvenience. Other than that, I am happy with the blinds.

Krista - you are so awesome!!! So I really never thought much about blinds before but then I met Krista. I used have my windows with dark curtains and cheap blinds and they made my living room look smaller that it needed. Now, I have GREAT QUALITY BLINDS that actually fit my windows and the valances are more attractive and better quality than anywhere I've ever seen. Also, when they came to my home to do installation, it was incredibly pleasant, fast & very professional. I would recommend anyone wanting to do a mini makeover for their home to call Krista today. It's worth it and was in my budget. Thank you Krista!!!

We recently remodeled our kitchen and added 10 ft of windows overlooking the back yard. The windows face west so we need shades in the afternoon but didn't want to block the view. I looked at options online and at Lowes/Home Depot but realized I needed guidance. I found Krista/Budget Blinds on Angie's List. We have been pleased with our experience from the initial consultation to the installation of the blinds. Krista quickly zeroed in on what I was looking for, the cost with installation was comparable to prices I found elsewhere and the quality of the blinds is obvious. Billy, the installer, was professional, prompt and courteous. The blinds look great.

Budget Blinds of Worthington was awesome. They were great from the measuring of the windows to the installation. Krista the owner could not of been more helpful in making sure I was completely satisfied. The blinds look terrific. I love the way my house's appearance has changed. I would recommend this company to anyone who would like new window or door treatments.

Great. Consultation appointment was made for the very next day, and when blinds were ready, I got a called and we scheduled for them to be installed the day after that. Installation took about 20 minutes -- much faster than I could have done it. Blinds look terrific, consultant was knowledgable and easy to work with. She didn't pressure or try to up-sell me. I was wary because of the cost -- "Budget" Blinds cost more than I expected. But with tricky windows in a prominent area of our house (and not enough time to correct mistakes before houseguest arrive), the ease and security that they would fit and be RIGHT was worth it this time. Working with Budget Blinds was easy, fast, and I feel good about the quality (though they've only been up an hour). The 5-year, no-questions-asked warranty is really nice -- if my kid cuts the string or pulls on a blind, they'll fix it for free within 5 years.

Diane from Budget Blinds met with me for about 30-45 minutes to go over some options to cover a large window in the front of my house. She was punctual and quite helpful in talking through those options, not to mention patient as I sorted through about a hundred different color swatches. The quote she provided was reasonable and thorough, although I ultimately decided to go in a different direction with the project. Regardless, I was pleased with what she had to show me, and I would not hesitate to use Budget Blinds in the future if the need arose.

Krista was great to work with! Very happy with the quality of the blinds. Installation was excellent. The only negative was that I had to leave work to meet the installer. He was an hour late and did not call. I would have appreciated a call from him that he was running late so that I did not have to leave work as early just to sit there for waiting for him.

AWESOME!!! Krista (owner and sales) worked with us and got us exactly what we wanted. Her assistant, Kathy, was always there to answer questions when Krista was in the field. Krista always called us directly when the same day. The installer, Billy, is an EXPERT in installing window treatments! Don't be fooled by the competition---Krista will meet or beat anyone on price for comparable quality, the installation is smooth, and their GUARANTEE is second to none! I was impressed with Krista's focus on understanding what I needed and on honoring my personal aesthetic. She helped me realize the value of roll-up window blinds over more complicated drapery treatments. Her discussion about various blind options was shaped by her clear awareness of what would best address my interests. She explicated several installation strategies and created multiple bids to provide me with a several options. to consider Ultimately, I decided to regroup and take a different approach--for now. I am confident that if and when I decide to move forward with blinds, Krista will be the only call I need to make for a perfect installation.

They came in the house and showed all the choices and did the measuring and installing. I just liked the quality of the blinds themselves. Christy was very good and she had good suggestions and I've been very pleased. There was one that had a problem and she came back and ordered replacement and actually saw another one that she thought had a little bit of a defect and she went ahead and ordered a replacement for that one too.

Krista promptly responded to our initial contact and set an appointment. She measured the window openings and provided suggestions. We placed an order with the shares arriving in a couple weeks. They were promptly and properly installed. Throughout the process Krista kept us informed of what was happening. Perhaps the "icing on the cake" was a thank you note she sent when everything was completed. When needing shades or blinds in the future, we will contact Krista and Budget Blinds.

Krista, the designer, and her installer Steve were pleasant and did good work. She and her office person were responsive when contacted by email or phone. The blinds look good and certainly not cheap looking; they're made of solid wood with a liberal amount of lacquer (with accompanying odor eventually dissipating) applied. We believe she did a good job (along with our input) of matching the blinds to the woodwork in the rooms. During our meeting with her she almost ordered 1-inch blinds, but we caught it and corrected it to the 2-inch blinds, although we had to change to a slightly different color as the choices for 2-inch blinds are not as numerous as for the 1-inch blinds.
We're not sure how reasonable the price was given that we did no comparison shopping - we provided a Val Pak coupon with a 25% Signature Series discount which Krista honored. We informed Krista of the 5% Angie's List discount before installation but after our order placement (we paid 50% down when we placed the order with the remaining 50% to be paid at installation). She said she normally requires all coupons to be provided at order placement, but we felt this was a technicality and not mentioned in the Angie's List ad, the blinds still had not been installed, and also she was aware we were Angie's List members when we placed the order. Probably to eliminate any confusion tell her you want the Angie's List discount when you place the order. And she did ultimately apply the 5% discount. So far, we are satisfied with the result and experience with her company.

When we moved into our new house in August 2013, NONE of the windows had any sort of curtains/window treatments, etc. I felt like I was living in a huge fishbowl. Since then, Krista from Budget Blinds has been to my house on 3 separate occasions to help (I was so pleased with our initial experience in November 2013, that I have used Budget Blinds twice since then). Krista is very friendly, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. Install has consistently happened within 3 weeks of the order. The installers have been friendly, efficient, and always cleaned up any excess boxes, materials, etc. Each experience has been truly hassle-free that I will continue to recommend Budget Blinds to friends and neighbors.
