Auto Mufflers
If you need an old muffler right now, they make their own, you don’t have to wait for it. They were good. They were fine. They’re pretty quick, cause they manufacture their own mufflers. It was in total $170.34. Pricing was pretty reasonable. Quickly, very quickly! They took us in the same day we were looking for a muffler shop. It was on a Saturday. They said they could do it the same day.

Buckeye Muffler does so much more than mufflers. They are able to diagnose most issues. If they are not able to make the repair, they will let you know. I needed an electrical problem fixed a few years back that could only be done by the dealer. Because they needed to send me back to the dealer, they did not charge me for the diagnostic work that they had done. I feel that this business is honest and they really go above and beyond to get me back on the road. I have and older vehicle and it is helpful to have a dependable service provider.

I originally took my car into Firestone for a small exhaust leak. Firestone put it on a lift and brought me into the bay to take a look. The leak was obviously coming from around the 2nd cat but, with the heat shield, you couldn't really tell where the noise was coming from. Due to the rarity of the car and the part, Firestone quoted me ~$1500 to replace the catalyst (assuming they could get the oxygen sensor out or it would be another $200).
Not willing to pay $1500 for a $780 part, I lifted the car up myself and found that the rear flex joint was leaking by holding my hand above it while the car was running. Thinking I could replace this myself I got the parts and started to pull the catalyst out. I soon found out the bolts were so rusted in that they would need a torch to burn them out. This was beyond me and the tools available so I called around to friends and other shops and was recommended Buckeye Muffler, then verified this with Angie's List.
I called them and explained what I needed (a gasket replacement) and they told me to bring it in. My plan was to drop the car off about a half hour before they closed (5:30) and let them get to it the next day. I showed up and explained my situation. They initially quoted me $85 for the gasket replacement which was a far sight from the $1500. After they put it up on the lift they found the rear pipe from the catalyst to be lose. Long story short they were able to cut out the flange all together and replace that section with a welded in flex joint for about $200. On top of that they did it in the 15 minutes I was standing there.
If you have an exhaust leak I would highly recommend trying this place first. I have no idea how they do if you have to replace parts but if it's patchable, they are extremely capable and unbelievably fast.
TL;DR: They are good. Use them.

The repair is awesome! I had taken this to a Tuffy and they said they could replace the flanges but that they couldn't garuntee the work and that they would eventually fail again, they quoted me $450+ to replace the whole system behind the catalytic converter. So at the recommendation of a friend I called Buckeye Muffler and Breaks they said I didn't need an appointment just to bring the car is and they could get it looked at and repaired in the same day. I took the car in at opening. They said they could get the work done by noon and described what they'd do to fix the problem and an approximate cost. They welded in two new piece of pipe where the flanges were which has completely fixed the muffler. They charged about $160 and because the pipe is welded it will last forever, unlike what other automotive shops wanted to do. They also go the work done by 11am the same day, so the work was done really really quickly!
When I went to pick the car up the man at the counter was really really friendly and remembered my buddy who had recommended me to their shop. I asked if they do more than muffler and breaks and they are a full service shop. So next time my car needs something you can bet I'm going back to Buckeye Muffler and Breaks on Main!

After paying $25.00 to have my brakes inspected at a nearby auto shop. I took my vehicle to the 3320 East Main St. location for a second opinion. The staff was friendly and performed a complete inspection free of charge, after which they concluded that no work was required, while the other shop had given an estimate of almost $800.00 worth of work that was supposedly required immediately. You dont have to guess where Ill be taking my vehicle when the time comes to have my brakes repaired.
