BREWER & SON ROOFING

Went well fixed the issues found on the inspection. Had to call him to come back out three times because, they missed a few spots when we came to inspect the place, that was annoying. Nevertheless, they were cheaper than everyone else. The fixes passed the future inspection so we were pleased.

The company had done a repair for us in 2006. We were happy with service and quality. We had 3 estimates on this job. They were the lowest with an estimate written out in detail detailing materials and what they would be doing. The owner came around that evening to inspect work with us.
We are very satisfied.

On August 21st of 2008 we paid in full except for $500, which we held back until we could check the ridge vents. We later found that roof sheeting had not been cut open to allow ridge vents to function. Warren said he would take care of it right away. After several calls and no shows, we were called and told a person would be out September 12th, 2008 to fix ridge vents and a leak we had discovered. No one showed up. It is now September 24th, 2008, a full month after problems reported, and 2 more leaks have been discovered. They do not return my calls. If roof is not fixed soon, my ceilings will be damaged further. I request that $3,700 be refunded so that I may have a proper roof installed.

Warren Brewer Sr. and Warren Jr. came out and provided an estimate on 8-24-07. This was the first of five estimates obtained and was the least expensive, in one case by $2,500. On 10-11-07 I called Brewer and Son to find out if the price was still good. I was told since the estimate was provided on 8-24-07 that Warren Sr. had passed away but the price given would be honored. I signed the contract for work on 10-13-07 and advised work would start on 10-17-07 and be complete in no more than 2-1/2 days. Material was delivered to the site as stated but due to wet weather work did not start until 10-19 and was completed 10-20-07 requiring only 1-1/2 days. I am very satisfied with the quality of the job performed. The work site was kept very clean and the crew was courteous and professional. Upon completion it was noted fewer square were installed than bid. Warren Jr. was very fair and accommodating in adjusting the price accordingly.

We received an estimate from Warren Brewer himself, who was quite personable and seemed down-to-earth. Brewer's quote was significantly less than the others (approximately 33-40% less). Naturally, we were suspicious since the work that was promised in the contract was the same as the others, using the same shingles, but at a significantly better price. We called his references (which he supplied) and found all good results. The job was started on time and complete in one and a half days. As we're renovating the house, Brewer's guys installed three bathroom fan vents and a tubular skylight dome while installing the roof. Richard (the crew leader) was friendly and attentive as was his crew. In short, the roof looks excellent, and the roofing crew did an outstanding job of cleaning up the yard afterward, even sweeping the porches, leaving them cleaner than before. We will definitely recommend Brewer to our friends when possible; the experience was very favorable.

Fantastic experience. This company was recommended by a friend. We had a bid on replacing this roof several years ago. That bid was $5000.00. THIS COMPANY DID THE JOB FOR $1100.00 less! They used top of the line materials, the job was completed in one day, and they left everything spotless, all garbage hauled away. A team arrived on the day they had scheduled, seven guys climbed up on my roof and got the job done very efficiently. One of the best experiences I've ever had with a service company!

HE HAND CUT THE PANELS THAT NEEDED TO BE LAID ON THE EXISTING ROOF. THE HAND CUT PANELS WERE VERY CROOKED, AND JAGGED. I COULD HAVE DONE A BETTER JOB. YOU CAN'T SEE THE SLOPPINESS FROM THE STREET, BUT YOU CAN FROM THE 2ND STORY WINDOW. HE SAID THAT HE WOULD ARRIVE AT 10:00 AM BUT ARRIVED AT 12:00 PM. I HAD TO CONSISTENTLY CALL HIM MONDAY MORNING TO CONSTANTLY CHECK TO SEE IF HE WAS COMING. I BELIEVE THAT IF I HAD NOT CALLED HIM CONSTANTLY HE WOULD NOT HAVE EVEN SHOWED UP. HE DID COMPLETE THE JOB ON TIME, BUT HE WAS LATE. THE LEAKS IN MY ROOF WERE REPAIRED, BUT AGAIN THE WORK IS SO SLOPPY.
