Bill's Tree Service

4x4x4x8 ft or 128 cubic feet of wood = 1 Cord of wood. They delivered 60 cubic feet of wood that's 60 cubic feet of wood short. I have called them and left messages they have not returned calls.

When our water line busted and had to be replaced, the roots of the huge silver maple tree in our front yard were severely damaged. We decided that the tree should be removed for safety reasons. We got lots of estimates. Some companies were not only expensive, but were also scheduling twelve weeks out. Other companies were more reasonable, but could not provide evidence of being insured. Finally, someone recommended Bill's Tree Service to us. We called and they came the next day, gave us a price that was the lowest we had found and also showed us their insurance document. That was on a Wednesday. Two days later, on Friday, they showed up at 9:00 and worked non-stop until 4:00. They safely "dismembered" the entire tree, ground the stump, and hauled away everything. We have no complaints. They did a great job at a great price and with great timing. We highly recommend them.

It went great. They took down the tree in a few hours and didn't hit the fence or house that it was close to. They also cut everything into lengths that we could split. They also ground down the stump included in the price. They chipped all the brush and cleaned up.

The tree removal was done very well, stumps ground out and great job of clean up. I had them trim / prune two Magnolia trees. One was done just OK, however the larger tree, (20) year established tree, is an absolute disaster. Not sure if it will survive. The photo speaks for itself.

Found a flier on my door about Bill's tree service. I checked Angies List and found good reviews, so I called and requested an estimate. A couple days later Bill called and said that he could do it on Saturday and the cost would be $300. I agreed and the come right out at the agreed upon time and commenced to grind out the stump. Duane and his crew did a great  job and ground the stump as we agreed and cleaned up their mess. All went well. Took about  hours. This was a pretty big stump.

Service was average. We have used the company in the past to remove trees and they did a great job. The tree trimming service was a disappointment. Unfortunately they came when I wasn't home to redirect. While trees were cut back from the house, they neglected to trim and shape the rest of the tree. All the trees are now missing a side. They missed two trees that were having into neighbors yard, which was the main reason I wanted the trees trimmed. The other tree hanging into another neighbors yard was trimmed but all the branches were allowed to fall into our neighbors yard. A large bush was also included in our quote but it was not trimmed at all. For the price paid we are very disappointed with the quality and will not be hiring the company again. They wee great last year for tree removal, and if anyone needs that done they will not disappoint. The workers are not knowledgable in tree preservation and I cannot recommend for tree trimming.

They did a good job. They're dependable, answer questions and cleaned up well.

He sent someone out with in 48 hours of contact. They did a really nice job, they were quick and efficient. They trimmed up some extra trees as well. They cleaned up at the end, you couldn't even tell they were here. They double checked the work before leaving as well.

We took five bids from Angie's list companies.  The bids ranged from $1800 to $5000.  Three bids were at $2000.  Bill's Tree Service had removed other trees in the neighborhood and was chosen to perform the work.
The huge Ash tree was removed by Bill's Tree Service in less than four hours for $2000..  We asked that stump be cut level to the ground which they did.   Dropping the main trunk of the tree or the huge limbs created 3 , >12", depressions in the ground that now need to be fixed in order to mow.  Afterwards we also found a 4 foot square area where the grass has been killed.  We do not know what killed the grass, but it was not there before the removal.   I told Bill about the holes and his comment was, "they did their best."

This is the second time we have hired Bill's Tree Service. Just like the first time, they did an excellent job. We had to have ash trees cut down and a stand of dead pine trees.  They ground out the stumps, and chipped up the smaller debris.  They also cleaned up anything that was left in the yard. Their professionalism, promptness, and reasonable fee will always be a winner with us!

Pleased with the service--

Caught these guys in the neighborhood and requested an estimate. Great price and great (and prompt) work. The guys cleaned up and made sure I was satisfied. I would certainly recommend.

thing this morning, and my 1030am- I had a 25ft pine tree and 2 large
bushes removed, and grounded.
His workers were amazing! Very nice and cleaned everything up perfectly!

Bill sent out a crew of 6 people to handle the job. They completed it in one day, including grinding the stumps and removing all of the trees. I didn't want the firewood, so they loaded up several trucks and took it away. They raked up all debris and took it away as well.
They left the ground up chips from the stumps in piles at the former location of each tree. After bagging up the chips for someone that wanted them for mulch, I noticed that under one of the piles there were still some large roots remaining at the ground surface which I will want to get removed soon. This is really the negative thing I can think of related to the work, and it wasn't big enough of a problem for me to lower my rating.
All in all, they did an excellent job, and after seeing the work they did, 2 of my neighbors ended up using them in the following days.

We had Bill's Tree Service remove a tree for us in the past so when they stopped by and pointed out that our trees needed to be trimed and shaped, and one dead tree removed, we were happy to schedule them to do the work!  They arrived on schedule, explained all that they would do, and did an excellent job.  All of the workers were very courteous, they cut the wood into firebox length, removed all debris, and ground out the stump.  The price they quoted was very reasonable.  This was another excellent experience with Bill's Tree Service!

I had a large limb come down during a wind storm that took out part of my fence.  I was referred by a neighbor and called and explained what had happened and they just to be in my neighborhood at the time and met me 15 minutes later to determine the extent of the damages and provided me with recommendations and a estimate.  They came out the next day and removed debris from the top of the 50 ft tree, removed another large limb and cleaned up and removed the debris from the fallen limb.  They also removed a tree that was leaning toward my house that could have caused more damage.  The workers were polite and friendly.  They explained everything they were doing and by the time I got home they had cleaned everything up including teh fallen leaves in my yard.  I was very pleased with their work and would not hesitate to have them out again. -

I saw these guys trimming our neighbor's trees, and asked if they could take out three evergreens in our yard also. They had time and removed them by the end of the day, for $100 each. They didn't have time to do the stumps, said they'd come back. They didn't call, so I had to call them back and we finally got the stumps done a couple months later for $50 each. They cleaned up most of the mess from both trips, and didn't damage the yard or other plantings.

Everything was excellent. They did exactly what they promised to do and cleaned up after themselves. I was very pleased with their service.

Great price! Crew was polite, explained the procedure, answered my questions and were willing to trim extra branches when I asked. I will definitely call them for future tree trimming. I will recommend them to friends and neighbors
