It was done by Saturday morning; even though that was July 4th, much sooner than we expected. I was hoping to get the hose cleaned too; but we were told that that couldn't be done? Everything else was fine.

I love this store! I have been going there for many years. When I needed a new vacuum cleaner, I just asked the owner what he would recommend. We have two cats, one of which has long fur, and so we needed a great cleaner that would be able to handle the challenges. The owner recommended and demonstrated one particular vacuum cleaner. It was very pricey and I am frugal but I totally trusted his advice and bought it. It's now at least 10 years old, and works perfectly! i take it in each year for a tune up where the filters are replaced, the whole unit is cleaned, etc. I think this is essential because of the cat clean ups.
I brought it in once for a minor repair, and that was quickly fixed.
Later I bought a carpet washer. I had been paying lots of money each year to professionals who came in and washed the carpet and I decided to do it myself.
Again, I asked for the one he recommended, and he said he only sold one- and it was the best. I have been using it since then.
I totally trust this company and the couple who works there to give me wonderful advice, and very friendly service. I recommend them to all my friends.

After spending some days looking for a way to repair my Kirby collection bag, and after being told at the Kirby rep that it would be over $100 to fix a plastic hose, a friend at work told me about Bethel Road Sweepers where his friend had once worked. Tucked away in the corner of a strip mall, I never saw this place before. The gentleman behind the counter was kind and courteous. "Sure. Come back tomorrow. It'll be done." And it was, at a about a quarter of the cost offered by others. Supplies are much less, too. I know where I'm going next time.

I dropped the vacuum off and it was ready within just a few days although I wasn't able to get back over to the shop for over a week. Manager was very helpful and I'll probably take my carpet cleaner over for some repairs as well.

We found the location through the internet. Wanted to purchase a top of the line vacuum cleaner. The owner demonstrated several models. After understanding our goal of reliability and the specific uses we were planning for the item we were sold a vacuum with a thorough tutorial and the appropriate support items.

I have a Hoover Vacuum cleaner and had not had it serviced since buying it in about 2005. I took it to Bethel Rd Sweepers because it wasn't picking up as well. They replaced the belt and bag and checked everything else out. It is now working very well. The work was completed when they told me it would be done and I was very pleased with the service.

I was thrilled they were open after 5pm on a Friday, looked at it right away (I dreaded the and quot;come back in 2 weeksand quot; usual repair shop) and fixed it for a fair price. Again, often repair places have a and quot;flatand quot; fee they charge just to look at it, but they did not. I just like this guy and his business.

My vacuum stopped getting power. I called Bethel Sweepers to confirm that they service Kenmores because their website did not state this brand. They did. I dropped my vacumm off on Saturday March 17 and was told to call late Tuesday afternoon. The vacuum was ready Tuesday afternoon as promised. The plug needed replaced. Both owners were extremely polite and helpful. The man who does teh maintenace even replaced the vacuum cleaner bag which had been full.

In March, I took my vacuum to Ed for a tune up. When I looked for their store online, their website offered a special on the tune up for $29.95 from the regular price of $34. I was told by the owner's wife that the price was $49.95. Of course I wanted the service for the lower price offered online. Both the owner and his wife said that somebody else put that information on their website, but they could not figure out how to change it or remove it. However, Ed did offer me the service for $34 but then neglected to inform me that a new belt and bag would be installed for an additional charge of six dollars. So my cost total cost was closer to $44 rather than $34. I wondered what I'd find if I called back anonymously and inquired about the cost and services included in the tune up. I called twice. Once I was told the tune up was $59. Another time I was told $49. Even after asking if there would be any additional costs involved, I was told no. But when I specifically asked if they replace the bag and belt then I was told "yes" for an additional six dollars. I sure would have like to know about those additional costs before getting the service done. So I finally called the store on May 12th and told the owners how I felt. I had to go in and get bags for my vacuum. I got three packages of the hepa filter bags and three packages of bags for my canister. THAT all cost a total of $86. Then, same day, I see a coupon in the paper mint from Bethel Road Sweepers offering "buy three bags get one free!" So I call Ed right then and say did you know about that coupon. He agreed to give me a free package of bags if I bring the coupon in. Next day I do just that and while I am there I ask him to write an itemized receipt for the bags that I purchased. His handwriting was sloppy and he wrote down the wrong price and the wrong total. So I asked if he could rewrite it since I keep these receipts for my business tax records. He said "NO!" He said that I was being difficult. He would not take an extra minute (because he is too busy) to rewrite that receipt. And to think I just spent over $86 dollars at his store. Last fall I spent $500 dollars on the vacuums I purchased there. I won't be able to go back now due to this poor customer service.

I thought I was going to have to throw this one away and purchase a new vacuum, but they were able to repair it, which I really appreciated. They had it ready for me the next day and the price was extremely reasonable. They were very nice and very friendly. I would absolutely us them again.

The repair was completed within 24 hours of dropping it off. The case was not completely resealed correctly, but when I returned it, they fixed it so that the vacuum cleaner was as good as new. It took a second trip back only because my husband didn't notice it when he picked it up, but I am happy.

I brought the vacuum into the store and stated my problem with it. The woman behind the counter greeted me and then began to make cracks about the brand of vacuum. I think she was trying to be funny, but it did not come off that way. She checked in in my vacuum and told me it would be done in a few days, they would call me. I was given no cost quote nor did I ask. They did a great job and my vacuum works like new. I would use them again, but avoid any long conversations with the woman behind the counter.

When I dropped my vacuum off, I was told that my bag-less Hoover model wasn't the best quality and it may not be worth fixing it. I was happy to find out it could be fixed and didn't have to be replaced.

I have had to take my sweeper back 6 different times. He replaced a motor in the sweeper. One time I went to turn it on dust blew out every where. They owner was very short with me but the guy that does the work was very nice and attentive.

I had two vacuums to get repaired. There are very few people in the city who repair vacuums rather than try to sell you a new one. Very pleasant conversation. Work was done when he stated it would be. I drove across town for this repair work since the vacuum dealer in Whitehall didn't seem to want the repair business. Would highly recommend.
