For this job, we had the older Bartholomew, Dave come in and do the work.

We've used them before and we weren't as thrilled this time. We had Kevin Bartholomew do the work. He was personable but did whatever he wanted. His dad came out and gave us a quote and we had an understanding as what was to be done. Kevin just kinda did what he thought should be done. It wasn't what we agreed to with his father.

Dave came to determine what went wrong causing a my sump to flood my house, and quoted a couple of different options to fix it.  He came and did the work the following week (my appointment was bumped a day due to an emergency he had to take care of with someone else, which worked ok for me).  The sump issue had destroyed my dishwasher, and Dave mentioned that water could possibly come out of the stand pipe since it was pretty low, so he and his crew raised the height.
Everyone was very nice, and did a great job.  They cleaned up after themselves which I really appreciated.  Dave's prices are very fair, and he was up front about the costs and stuck to them.  I will call him again in the future if I need more help!

Install of tankless water heater went very well.  David and Kevin were very professional and arrived on time. The whole process of installing the new heater and removing the old one took two days (as predicted) but we were never without water for long. System works as promised and the work itself was very tidy.

If you want somebody to show up to do the job, I would NOT hire Eddie Bartholomew.
Completed about 1/3 of the work, then repeatedly promised to show up to finish (actually used the words and quot;I promiseand quot;) and just never showed up again. Set us back multiple times until we finally just cut our losses and moved on.

My tenant called at 7am when I was out of town that there was water leaking through the kitchen ceiling, down from the toilet above. My realtor was able to recommend Bartholomew, who was already working and came over right away, talked through it with me over the phone, and got to work. He cleaned up the mess, fixed it right, and didn't charge me my left arm. That's worth saving on my phone.

They were great. They found the leak was coming from my fridge. They were very fair, clean, and knowledgeable.

Bartholomew Plumbing was our advocate during our basement finishing project. The general contractor we hired was (admittedly) a poor choice on our part. As a result of this general contractor choice, we experienced rotten project management, questionable professionalism, and untimely execution of the project by the contractor... that is until Kevin and his family showed up. Our general contractor repeatedly tried to up corners and costs with respect to the plumbing and electrical. Kevin's professionalism and do-it-right-the-first-time approach made the stress of finishing the basement lessen significantly. We feel very lucky that Kevin and his family were hired as the plumbing subs on this project. We will use them again in the future without hesitation. Thanks so much for your help guys! Batholomew plumbing did a great job repairing leaks and updating pipes and fixtures in my house. They did a lot of "dirty work", including demo and repair, and had a whole team of plumbers working at various points throughout the project. The scope of the project became much bigger than originally expected, but I now know that all the plumbing in my house is up-to-date. There were a few minor adjustments that needed to be made after completion of the project -- some were minor but concerning -- and included some "drips and leaks' where pipes and joints came together. I attribute this to new pipes "settling" into their final positions --- hopefully not the result of careless workmanship. Overall, a good experience.

I am extremely pleased with all aspects of the service and pricing. I had damaged a pipe drilling into the wall - they came out quickly and did an excellent and thorough job in providing a long-term fix to the problem (not a short-term band-aid). They determined how to do a great job while minimizing damage to the dry wall and moldings. I appreciate their old-school attention to quality and their interest in doing a job right.

I have found the plumber that I will use for all my plumbing needs and whom I can trust to give good advice, do great work, and charge a fair price.

Very pleased. Exceptional job as usual. We have used this family-owned company for a variety of plumbing jobs over the years and have always been satisfied with their work. Our old toilet kept stopping up off and on, but for several weeks it had gotten worse and happening more frequently, and harder to unstop. We decided it was time to get one of the new power flush toilets, even if it was considerably more expensive. They recommended the Gerber Avalanche with power/pressure assist ($400). As always, they did a great job, cleaned up the mess, and also fixed a leaky faucet and replaced the ice maker filter. We felt the labor cost was fair and have been very pleased with all the work done.

We use this company for all of our plumbing needs and have built a rapport with Kevin Bartholomew. He is very honest and friendly, very knowledgeable and trustworthy. He stays as late as necessary to get the job done, and done right. We will definitely use them again and highly recommend this company to anyone needing a good plumber!

They were very accommodating and informative about the problem. They also did the trouble shooting with GE when I couldn't get the parts.

We have used them before. They have been in business for a long time and it is a family owned company. I think that they are very reasonable in their prices and it is nice to deal with a family run business rather than a franchise.

We called Dave and he came over within a few days to start plumbing a new laundry hookup. He is not quite finished, so I cannot quote a exact price yet. We use him for all of our plumbing needs. He is very honest and friendly. We even have him come over, when we are not home. We have found him very reasonable compared to other plumbers. He has been in business, for years. We trust him with all of our plumbing needs. His work is second to none.

They are very efficient.

They had an inexperienced crew member that used a hacksaw to good wallboard and wallpaper, leaving two holes, they also spent an entire afternoon, and the entire next day troubleshooting a job that should have taken a couple of hours. After all that they found they had caused the problem, and used my wet-vac to rectify the situation. They charged $500 in an un-itemized bill and left the two holes in my wall.

This company had called my during a blackout. They instructed me on how to properly drain my house so the pipes would not burst. They also gave me a call back when it was ok to turn the water back on.

I called on Friday. Even though it was no emergency, Kevin was here 1st thing Monday morning. =Did excellent job and left no mess. Even cleaned the top of my fridge and put things back, after he was done. Very personable and friendly, as well as extremely knowledgeable and professional. A hard, fast worker! We have used Bartholomew Plumbing for 6-7 years and have always been very pleased with their work. Highly recommend!
