My dog has one of those little wellness plans so I don't have to pay for the visit fee. I only had to pay for the medication that she got at the time. They could improve their pricing and, I think they try to sell you a little more than you need.
My daughter in law took the kitten in for pre-procedure consult as I had to be out of town. Since she was there they put contract in her name and we cannot get it changed to my name. When I returned she told me about extra charge for the declaw procedure. I spoke with staff about the mis-representation and they have said they will make sure to stipulate that wellness plan includes price of regular declaw only.
The procedure went well. I have no problems with the medical staff or the care my pets have received. I do have a problem with being there well over 2 hours for every visit.
The second kitten will also have the procedure done this month since he is also on the wellness plan but there were some significant communication problems with getting this one booked also.
It did take a call to the corporate consumer advocate to get a timely call back.
The location (Polaris) and the fact that it is in a Petsmart store is very convenient for me and I will use the rest of the contract.
