I have used them for 12 years. It is nationwide, and I used to travel a lot, so that's why I use them. She is a traveling dog and has been with me through 23 states. I have their wellness program. This is the best one I have ever seen. If you take them, they follow up that evening with you. My dog had a problem with her liver, and they have called three weekends in a row to see if she's okay. You normally don't get that kind of service.

My dog has one of those little wellness plans so I don't have to pay for the visit fee. I only had to pay for the medication that she got at the time. They could improve their pricing and, I think they try to sell you a little more than you need.

I called on Sunday afternoon and they told me to come right over. We were put in a room quickly and the tech was very nice. They started trying to sell their services right away, even tho I told them multiple times I had a regular vet that I was happy with. Dr Miller came in and examined him. She said she thought it was his hip and would need to sedate him and do X-rays. I agreed after I was told it would be $480. I thought that seemed high but had no choice. They told me to get him in two hours. About ten minutes later the vet called and said she forgot to include monitoring with the anesthesia - it would be $23.10 to check his BP and $35 for O2. Did I agree to this. Of course I did, I have worked in the medical field for many many years and have never heard of charging extra to monitor during anesthesia, it is part of anesthesia! When I went back she said he had mild hip dysplasia and ordered rx. Gave me a copy of his X-rays and since I already had appt with my vet to just follow up with him. No other paperwork was given. The vet did call on Tuesday to say the radiologist agreed with her. I told her I did not get any paperwork and she promised to send it with the radiologist report I took my dog and the X-rays to my vet on Thursday. We reviewed the X-rays and he said my dog has severe hip dysplasia on both sides ( he has never had any symptoms). He also said the entire exam done at Banfield would have been about 1/2 the cost at his office. Next time I need to see a vet when my vet is closed I will pay the money and go to Medvet. At least I know I will be getting quality care for my money P.s.- no paperwork yet and today is Saturday

I have lost all faith in the provider. I have been using Banfield for more that 10 years now. I would be careful of any procedures that the want to do. I will continue to use the wellness plan for the vaccines and dental cleaning but no longer for anything else.

First call to Banfield was to get estimate for laser declaw. I have used another vet very successfully but wanted to compare prices. Banfield was recommended because they also have a wellness plan. The conversation began with the fact that I was calling other vets for price comparison on laser vs regular declaw procedures. I was led to believe that the price I was given included the laser declaw. (Banfield does a radio frequency declaw which is very effective)

My daughter in law took the kitten in for pre-procedure consult as I had to be out of town. Since she was there they put contract in her name and we cannot get it changed to my name. When I returned she told me about extra charge for the declaw procedure. I spoke with staff about the mis-representation and they have said they will make sure to stipulate that wellness plan includes price of regular declaw only.

The procedure went well. I have no problems with the medical staff or the care my pets have received. I do have a problem with being there well over 2 hours for every visit.

The second kitten will also have the procedure done this month since he is also on the wellness plan but there were some significant communication problems with getting this one booked also.

It did take a call to the corporate consumer advocate to get a timely call back.

The location (Polaris) and the fact that it is in a Petsmart store is very convenient for me and I will use the rest of the contract.

They are very attentive and kind to your pet. I had to sign up for a health plan because I could not pay the bills up front. This covers the visits but not the work done.

I don't like much about their service but the price is good for my large dog. They are responsive, punctual, and professional. I will continue to use them in the future.

Dr. G is really great and she is very hands on with the animals and is very caring. It has been a very god vet for use we like her quite a bit. They are punctual it's just you end up waiting a long time to check out every time. The Dr. is very professional and she always follows up.

Dr. Baltzell helped us with one of our elderly cats, who is suffering from kidney failure and other ailments. He was readily accessible by phone and walk-ins during some weeks of crises when our cat almost died. He is very caring, he consults with specialists, and referred us when necessary for a higher level of diagnostics. Our cat is now stabilized and is quite "frisky" at times, with new medication and a special diet.
