Working with Dennis was a good experience. The job was completed efficiently and it turned out great. I would recommend and hire again.

The work was never done. Two days after receiving the estimate, I called and left a message saying I wanted to accept it and schedule the work. Nothing. A week later I called again and he answered. I asked if he got the message...I had to remind him what the job was that he quoted. He said yes and would let me know when they could get me on the schedule in a couple weeks. Six weeks later I still have never heard back. Have now moved on to another provider. In addition to the lack of responsiveness, the owner's phone presence left a lot to be desired. He would answer the phone, "Hello?" and I had to confirm that I had the right number and hadn't called some college kid. Is it that hard to say "AllStar Ceilings, this is so-and-so speaking"?

Dennis and his crew were punctual and did a great job. The got the job done quickly and cleanly with lots of communication and updates through the process. They took care of getting the paints to match existing colors. The walls that were repaired looked like they never were damaged. And they smoothed out the offset of two drywall panels in a room (had about 1/4" gap where they met) and it looks like one continual sheet of drywall. Very happy with the results.

Work was well done and looked good. I was very happy to not do the work myself and the cost was very reasonable. Personal family matters made scheduling time with Dennis difficult at times, but Dennis still completed the work when I needed it complete.

The ceiling in our bedroom was damaged due to a leak. It was originally a project my husband and I thought we might try to tackle, but after getting a very reasonable quote from Dennis, we decided to leave it to the pros. Dennis & his dad came when they said they would both days of the project and did an amazing job fixing the drywall on the ceiling AND blending/matching into our existing texture. He is extremely talented with texture work and I would highly recommend this company to anyone with a similar project looking to hire. Dennis is detail oriented, professional, knowledgable, caring and thorough. He didn't rush on the job like I feel that some companies do. Really took the right amount of time on it and did it right! They also did a superb job of covering everything in the room so as not to make a mess, yet still cleaned up & vacuumed before they left. Can't say enough good things about these guys!!

Dennis was awesome! I was working under a time crunch remodeling my upstairs. Dennis had the job handled in 3 days. Final product came out very nice! I called several drywall companies listed here on Angie's list. Only 1 other called me back and said he didn't service my area. Thanks Dennis!

Called Dennis on Monday morning, and he came by later that evening to give me an estimate. Started the work Wednesday at 4 (exactly when he said he'd come). He came the next day and finished up. The ceiling is textured and if we didn't know where the hole had been, we would not be able to see it. We've already recommended him to friends and would definitely use him again. Very professional. Good communication. Excellent all around.

Dennis responded to our call within 24 hours. The two other companies we called did not respond for 3 days. Our repair was a relatively small job and Dennis offered to do the work in the early evening. The work required 4 evenings of work due to drywall drying and then the finish coat required extra time. My husband and I think that Dennis exhibited excellent craftsmanship for a very reasonable price. He was professional and was always on time.

God experience overall. Responded quickly and got job completed same-day. Patch and texturing job was excellent. Only minor color difference, which can't be avoided. If/when eventually painted, will be impossible to notice. Will call again for sure.

Dennis arrived onsite for the quote and gave detailed information on his plan of attack to repair the ceiling. He then came and fixed the ceiling while matching the existing pattern. Would definitely use again in the future.

They repaired holes in the walls and ceilings and painted the entire home except for bathrooms. They completed all the work requested in addition to extras we did not request (at no additional cost). They were very professional and did exceptional work. A large hole in the ceiling was repaired with texture and could not tell the difference from rest of ceiling. The always showed up at times agreed to and completed the job on schedule. It was great to work with them.

Dennis did an outstanding job repairing the ceilings. But more importanly, Dennis was professional. He communicated often and always updated me on how things were going when it would be completed. He was always on time and a joy to work with.

Dennis quickly responded to my RFQ with an estimate for work to be done which included a fairly aggressive deadline for completion. He and his helper (father) were typically punctual and always called to let me know if they were delayed. Dennis talked with me regularly each day as the job progressed, updating me regarding status. He exceeded my expectations regarding communication with the client, as he readily communicated any possible issues that might keep him from meeting the deadline. He finished the job on time and the results were what I expected of a professional.

He was very prompt and he came when he said he would come. He finished on time. He did a very good job. It seemed like he is expert in wall repairs and painting. He cleaned up all by themselves. He came in on time and in the afternoon went for lunch and came back in an hour and finished the work by five. I would rate him high overall. He was a little pricy. The quality of work was good. He was very responsive and he showed me the work after he finished. I told him to redo one area and he did that. I would use him again in the future.

We had hired another contractor to frame, drywall and complete our basement in order that we create a theater room and home gym. We wanted the ceiling to be drywall so that basement area would look more like an upstairs area. The initial contractor completed the walls then told us the floor joists were too uneven for him to do a drywall ceiling. He offered to do a drop ceiling. I looked on Angies List to see if there was anyone who could do the drywall ceiling and came up with All Star. Dennis responded quickly to my call and came over to give an estimate. He said he could do it and started working soon thereafter. He spent extra time completing what initial contractor did not do. He worked didligently completing the drywall ceiling and did a superb job!

Our older home required many repairs in the walls and ceilings. We had some old water stains and a bathroom which never had a vent. Not pretty. Allstar Ceilings and Walls is one of the few companies which gives clear written estimates, does tear out, and really stands by their work. The prices are reasonable, the work is excellent and the service is outstanding. Always on time, Allstar maintains communication throughout the entire process--not just when making the sale. Extremely trustworthy and hardworking, we will continue to use Allstar for drywall and painting as long as we live in Central Ohio.
