What a bargain, very professional.

The service turned out fine. They came in and did a good job. I have an old furnace, there wasn't anything wrong with it at that time although about three weeks later it did go out.

The technician was efficient. He clearly described his findings and provided thoughtful answers to my questions.

Fast forward a week. It's now Thanksgiving Day and the furnace is not working at all - there's actually a burning smell coming from the inside unit. I didn't want to call for service because I thought there would be a surcharge due to the holiday but with temps in the 20s - 30s that day, I didn't have much of a choice. I called and actually got the same service person that came out originally. (BTW, there was no surcharge.) He ran some tests and replaced the capacitor (which, thankfully, he had on his truck). Whether or not this was the cause of the original problem, we don't know but I can say that I haven't had any issues with the unit since. Because I had gotten a coupon off of Aire-Serv's website, the service fee was waived and I only had to pay for the capacitor, which was approx. $269.

I purchased the Big Deal for a furnace tune-up. They'd obviously had a good response to the deal as I had to schedule several weeks out. I was able to get an afternoon service window, and the technicians arrived within the first 5 minutes of the window, which was a very pleasant surprise! The technicians clearly explained what they were going to do, and they completed the inspection in a timely manner. They reviewed their checklist with me and mentioned a few things I should keep an eye one. When they told me my humidifier wasn't working, they took the time to go back to the unit to show me the part in question. They didn't have the part on hand to fix it, but I appreciated their time and attention. I was very pleased with the value and service, and will be calling to follow up on the humidifier part. Inspected the furnace and showed parts with wear on them, explained how long they should last and when they will need to be replaced. Answered questions about duct work. Have not been billed yet.

It went well. They were very thorough and they did not try to sell me unnecessary services. One technician came out to do the work. Scheduling was fine but we did have to re-schedule but it was due to our time frame.

Well worth the money!

Everything went well.  No surprises which is always appreciated when dealing with a major home component!

 The serviceman was prompt, professional, cost effective--the furnace checkup was an Angie's List deal.  He provided good information about the  heating/cooling system and the programmable thermostat.  Can't  find the receipt with the cost of the job, but I know it was the Angie's list deal for the check-up plus $99 for the thermostat installation.

The  tech was very professional and I probably will use them in the spring when I purchase a new furnace.
