We had granite counters installed in our kitchen, master bath, 1/2 bath, and full bath upstairs. We were initially drawn in by the very reasonable price for all that we wanted done. We had contacted them in early December and not only were the prices affordable, but they were offering free removal of old countertops as a "Christmas Special". So, we decided to contract with them for our work. Following the holidays, we went to the granite yard and chose our granite slabs for our project. This is the point were the service went downhill...we tried to contact them multiple times via phone calls and email with no response (i would wait 2-3 days, then call and email again). Finally, after about a 7-8 days, Bob contacted me and informed me that he and Fran had been under the weather. So, i sympathized on some level, but also thought "shouldn't you have some arrangement in place to keep your business running if you are sick???" Apparently, their operation completely shuts down if they get sick, which seems like a poor business model to me. Anyway, after they felt better, i continued to email/call in attempt to pin down a day that they could do the install so that i could arrange my work schedule accordingly. After waiting 2-3 days yet again, they finally got back in touch with me and were very noncommittal on this subject. They said we can try for such-and-such week...well, that's not helpful because i cant take off an entire week to plan for your 1 day of work. Finally, i became extremely frustrated with their delayed responses and noncommittal plans and told them that they absolutely, without question, must give me a firm install date. Once they realized how irritated i was, they gave me a date and stuck to it. On install day, they removed the old countertops and installed the new granite (which looks great by the way). Our master bath counter was not cut correctly (opening for sink was not centered on the cabinet), and they came back out about 2 weeks later with a new, properly cut piece. I was very happy that they stuck to their word and didnt leave me with a mis-cut countertop (i was worried about this given my previous poor communication and interactions with them). We've had our countertops for a 1.5yrs now and still love them. So, in summary, the price was good and the granite looks beautiful...but, the customer service and interactions with Fran and Bob leave a lot to be desired.
