Everything went great. Cale is very passionate about what he does and extremely responsive. Was the only company I looked at that provided references and encouraged you to go look at actual work for yourself. Carries the best products that are available and at a price that is very reasonable. Really enjoying our new Polaris windows and door. The installers did a great job and were sure to clean up as they were working. The window installation and exterior trim capping looks great. Minor concerns with the product were corrected in short order after the project was completed. Makes a world of difference in the look of our home. COULD NOT RECOMMEND ADVANTAGE EXTERIORS ENOUGH!!!!!

Amazing work, affordable price.  No joke, more than half the cost of Renewal by Anderson.  Very satisfied, wish I would've done it sooner.  Very affordable upgrade that makes the house quieter and more energy efficient.

I first made contact with Cale from Advantage Exteriors in late 2013 to get a quote on replacing windows. I explained to him that I had previously replaced windows (in another house) and was looking for a quote on Polaris Windows. Advantage was one of a few contractors that I located on Angie’s List that dealt with Polaris windows. I explained that my time for installation was not until spring tax season and Cale did not have any issues coming out to provide a quote. Arraignments were made and Cale arrived on
time to take measurements and give me a quote.
I was not inundated with a long and boring sales pitch, there was not any pressure and Cale was very informative and provided information I requested in a timely manner.
I made several adjustments throughout the process as I received more information
about these windows and competitor windows.
Cale took the time to allow for me to install different window types in different areas, depending on need.
We also began to look at installing an entry door and storm door. Cale was accommodating as we made our
decision on the door options and he provided the information I requested in a timely manner again.
I had not decided about what I was doing as far as financing and Cale made the
suggestion to get with Key Bank and look at doing an Eco-Link loan. (State
subsidized interest for energy efficient home improvements) This also worked out great.
I made the order of 12 windows and an entry door; this included two half round
windows, and three large slider windows.
The windows were delivered in less than three weeks and Dave, the installer showed up the next day to start installing.
Dave did a great job of keeping the area he was working in clean. His installation on the aluminum trim looks
much better than most replacement windows I have seen. He takes the time to miter the edges to give
a much cleaner appearance. This takes a bit more time than other companies, however, it looks much better.
We ran into a few small snags, no fault to Cale or Dave, and they were remedied without any issues in a short amount of time.

Overall the experience was painless and mostly stress free. With Advantage Exteriors there was not any
haggling, negotiating, or sales pitch/pressure.
The price given was a fair and accurate price for the job, which was nearly half of the original quote of Rosatti Windows. (I also think based on my research and personal experience that Polaris windows are actually a better window.)

Take the time to look at smaller companies like Advantage Exteriors and don’t get sucked into the hype of the “big market” companies.

I had eight windows installed in my home in Powell, six double hung and 2 sliders. Cale did an excellent job going over the information about the windows composition and walked me through the process of the installation. The heat lamp demonstration sold me and I moved forward with the Polaris Ultraweld triple pane windows. The frames were much thicker than I had thought but I could tell immediately that I had less heat loss. The weather was not very cooperative and I have a very tight schedule but the installer, Dave did his best to complete the installation as soon as possible. Would definitely use them again in the future.

We had a number of big name window companies come out to give us estimates on replacement windows and a new front door. A couple of the big name companies basically walked through and assumed they had our business because we were referred. The quotes we got were way higher than we expected and when we mentioned that to the big name companies they basically gave us a $2500 to $3500 and quot;discountand quot; on the spot because we were and quot;referredand quot;. Hmmm..... So we invited Advantage Exteriors to give us an estimate based on another referral from a friend. Cale Bowling came over and he is energetic and very knowledgeable about many different brands of windows. He recommended Polaris Windows and gave us a full demo of their products. No pressure but be prepared to hear more than you will ever need to know about windows!
Anyway, before signing on the dotted line we researched Polaris windows on line. Not a lot of reviews available but the ones that were were mainly from contractors in the business and they were all positive about the quality of the windows. We also found out the company has been around for a long time, over 50 years. Cale worked with us over a couple of weeks on the selection, especially the door, and we had a few custom windows done (Cale was great about the pros and cons of customizing certain windows with good insight about different styles and functionality) and we went with Advantage Exteriors. The installation contractor, Dave, did great work. He was extremely conscientious and was patient with us on all of our questions (if I don't do the job myself I want to watch how it's done so I can learn). One pleasant surprise about the installation is the nice final touch Dave does by and quot;framingand quot; the windows on the outside. It adds a whole different look and is unique.
The custom windows did take longer to make and come in but we expected that and with a purchase as large as we made we didn't want to rush anything. So plan on giving it some time if you are ordering customized windows.
We are very pleased with the finished product and our neighbors have commented on the difference our new front door makes to the appearance of our house. It's amazing the difference in the sound level also from the new windows, much quieter (we went with the triple pane option).
If you are in the market for windows or a new door, at the least give Advantage Exteriors a call to compare with your other quotes, we think you will be as pleasantly surprised as we were.

The windows are of high quality and appear to have been installed very well. The person installing the windows called ahead, arrived when he said he would, and had the job done when he said it would be done. He installed 12 windows by himself in two days. He cleaned up the mess after each window was installed which was greatly appreciated. I would definitely recommend this company to others.

Cale was very easy to work with- promptly returning all calls and texts. Our windows arrived within weeks, as promised. The installer, Dave, always showed up on time and even texted 20 mins prior to his arrival. He was friendly and cleaned up his entire area after each day. We love our new windows and feel great that we used advantage! Three of of neighbors have personally stopped by to tell us how amazing our home looks now! I highly reccomend!!!
