I tried to call, but the number listed on Angie's list has been disconnected.

No concerns. Diagnosis was timely and repair was completed on time for the price quoted.

The TV worked for a short while, then had issues again.
They said they would fix it, and to bring it back in again if it happened again.
The only problem? They turned off their phone service and/or WENT OUT OF BUSINESS!
I have tried several times to contact them again, since I have not actually been to their location myself. Each time the phone just says it was disconnected. What a waste of money and time.
One thing I have learned about Angie's list, and this is true for any/all rated companies (good or bad). Just because they are rated well, does NOT mean they will stay in business. There are a zillion other factors that come into play. Angie's list is a good start, but if you want to be sure they are not going to just vanish once trouble arised

This is the best TV repair service. They were prompt--I took my TV in on Monday and had it back by Thursday. They were reasonable and applied the diagnostic fee toward the service fee. Excellent. Very happy !

I was told I would hear back within 3 days regarding the diagnosis. I called after a week and was told they were trying to locate a part. After about 3 weeks, I called again and was told the part was not available from the manufacturer and would need to be found on the second hand market. After another week or so, they called me and indicated the part could not be found and therefore my television could not be repaired. It was not the power connection afterall, but I do forget what they said it was. When I said I'd stop byto pick up the tv, they indicated it was in pieces and would need several days to reassemble. The story may all be true, but the communication was poor and I was left feeling I'd donated a nice tv for them to resell or use for parts (just a gut feel).

The repair was quick, I took the tv in on Thursday evening and was able to pick it up the next Tuesday evening after they called to say it was ready. They were very nice, loading and unloading the tv from the car and when I flew out of the house in a rush and forgot my claim form it was no problem. I like that they are open until 7pm so someone with regular work hours like me can get there after work without a huge rush.

Overall, I was very satisfied. Their location was close to my home in Westerville so the trip to take the TV in and later to pick it up was convenient.

Ray was on time and performed well at the price he quoted. Made it clear that he stands by his work and to let him know if I had further issues. Overall, the service was very good. The cost was, including service call, $360 to replace a ballast. A little more than I had expected but probally not out of line.

Ray was able to come to the house after 5pm which was unusual and quickly diagnosed the problem. His service charge was far more reasonable than I had expected. He gave me an estimate and said it would be 3 to 10 business days depending on parts availability but he had the TV back in 2 days and it works like a charm.

Raymond came on time, and promptly got to work on the television. He was a very pleasant and engaging guy, and spent a lot of time explaining what kinds of problem tvs like mine can have. We chatted a lot about things other than tvs as well. He also promised to come back if the tv still had problems, which hasn't happened. He also showed me how to connect it differently so that it would work through another connection, which would save me spending more money on repairs. So far I've had no more problems. And I was charged only the fee for the service call. I think he did a great job.

Ray is quite knowledgeable about televisions, having been in the business for 25 years. When I telephoned for an appointment, he readily scheduled a house visit for a weekday after business hours. He was punctual and professional throughout. He was familiar with my brand of television set and was able to inspect and test it with equipment that he had brought with him. He was willing to discuss his findings in some detail and make reasonable suggestions. He did not try to steer me into sending in the set for repairs; he simply described what would have to be done and what would be the probable outcome. His fee was reasonable considering that it was a house call and considering how forthcoming he was with good information. I shall have no problem recommending him to others.

We have a just-out-of-warranty Toshiba 37" flat screen that was hit by a power surge. I took it in & they charged $30 to diagnose the problem to be applied to any repair. I called a day later to find out the problem & they said it a board was "fried." They said it would be $280 to repair it. It was ready promptly, and for the stated amount plus tax, so $300. The cost of the part was $159.95. There was a "small parts/miscellaneous" fee of $18.50. Labor $100. While the TV now works fine (as it should), there's something a little too formulaic about the charges. I would have preferred to know about the "miscellaneous" charge in advance. I would also have preferred to know that the labor was $100 flat. How long did the repair take? An hour? I'll probably get estimates from other places before using these folks again.

Advanced Television Service Center were here for a couple hours. They took the tv apart to see what was wrong with it. They only charged us $64 which I thought was really reasonable for how long they were here. The part needed is no longer made so they rebuilt one per our request. They then came back out and took our tv back to our shop where they are currently fixing it. We brought up a smaller tv from the basement and the worker hooked up the cable for us and made sure all the channels work. He didn't need to do that. So, he went above and beyond for us to make sure we had a tv over the last week.

Although I had expected to be chided for attempting the repair myself, the associate understood my situation and took the time to explain a couple of details to me. He volunteered to finish assembling the remaining covers at no extra charge. He was extremely professional and very courteous. I was very pleased with the company and would absolutely recommend them without hesitation.

They were good. I liked their hours, open till 7pm which i nice when you work. They were quick with the repair options, just 1 day to get a sense of what was wrong with the TV. The costs was reasonable for the diagnosis. I did not opt to repair the TV through them, due to the cost, The screen was permanently damaged, and so would cost more to repair than to just purchase a new one. That is not reflective on them, just the state of technology.

We were happy with the work. He got our old TV working for another six months--the TV was 23 years old. He didn't even charge us to come out to our home. He was very professional and told us that there was no use spending a lot of money on the old TV.

The repairman gave me an estimate of about $80 to fix the problem, but he said he couldn't promise how long that would keep the television working. Although he could have set me up with a new TV, he said he thought the repair would make the TV last at least another few months. I decided to take a chance and just have it repaired rather than buy a new set. The TV is still going strong a couple years later! I liked the repairman and found him honest and knowledgeable.
