Our kitchen sink and laundry tub empty into the same branch line, that has a tendency to get clogged. This time the blockage was farther than our 25 foot snake. Dion came out the same day I called. He had the drain flowing freely within 20 minutes! And he did it for a very reasonable price! I would recommend his services to anyone with drain/sewer issues!

Figured out that there was actually a clog, but the slope of the pipe from the toilet to the sewer main is almost non-existent. Regardless, everything is working great. He arrived quickly and was very knowledgeable.

He was very thorough and answered my questions about the process of how he was cleaning the drain plumbing. He determined the plug was a minor one and cleared it out quickly. We thought he was very thorough and good at performing the job.

Everything went very quickly. He was very thorough. He went to the hardware store to get the pipe replacement pieces. That work was not planned. He was very gracious about offering to fix that for me. His rates were very reasonable.

I had a slow shower drain in a freestanding basement shower. It was a little tricky to actually get to the drain and when he did, the clean out had been cemented in place. It took him a little extra time to get the clean out plug unstuck but in the end he was successful in getting the drain unplugged. He showed up on time and did the work as requested.

I called ACR Drains. The call was returned within 10 minutes and an appointment was setup. He called me 1 hour before to confirm and also called me 1/2 hour before to let me know he will be here on time. Great communication !. He arrived at the exact appointment time. He quickly did his job. Great service.

I called him at 8:00 a.m. and he was able to be here by early afternoon. Dion was professional and completed the job in a reasonable amount of time. He obviously did a good job because my problem has been resolved. The price was right and made even better by a discount available through Angies List. I also noted that he put Roto-Rooter as a previous employer on his web site. He confirmed that but said he wanted to go out on his own. He shared that he named his company after the group he served with in the military.

We called the night before and they said they could come out that evening, but it would be substantially more money, so we opted to wait until morning since it wasn't a dire emergency. They showed up fairly early (I believe it was around 9AM), I showed him the problem and he got right to work. This was a trickier problem than i had originally thought it would be and he worked on the upstairs and downstairs drains for about 4 hours to get them clear and working again. They have worked great ever since!

Guy showed up on time. I asked him lots of questions (I am an engineer, that's what I do). The guy knew his stuff and explained in detail what he was doing. The problem was tree roots out in front of my house. Pulled out the root ball and went on his way. Total time was just under an hour. Did not make a mess.

Dion got it open after about 10 minutes and all is good. I would recommend ACR drains.

Called ACR, because the same floor drain was backing up that Rotor Rooter had worked twice now. Checked Angies list and decided to call ACR this time. Dion was prompt, professional and friendly. He thoroughly assessed the situation and patiently waited for the symtom to appear (it took running water about 10 minutes for the drain to begin to back up). When it did he went to work. He ran his snake at least 4 times in the drain to assure that it was clear and investigated other causes for the source of our problem. When I pointed out another floor drain that typically shows signs but never backs up, he cleared that one, too for a significant discount.

I called him out because I had a clogged floor drain in the basement. He was polite enough but not punctual. He pulled the toilet off in the basement and ran a cable about 60 feet out and got it stuck. He told me he would have to come back the next day because he couldn't do anything more that afternoon. He said he'd come at 0800 and arrive at 0900. He pulled on the cable but could not get it out. He said he would come back at 0930 with someone to help him pull it loose. He called me at 1000 and said he hadn't heard from his guy since the day before and he would call when he got a hold of someone. He called at 1515 and said he would be there in 20 minutes but showed up at 1550 with an elderly man who was stumbling around. He went down and had him help to pull up the cable but it still would not move. He disconnected the cable and removed the machine stating that I would just have to have it dug up. I called another company (this is now day 3 with no sewer service) to come out and they dug up the sewer, removed the roots, and disengaged the cable. I called ACR to have them come out to pull the cable in so that the other company could finish their work without damaging it at 1000 and had to leave a VM. I called at 1100 and was told that he wouldn't be out for another hour. He finally came at 1145 and removed his cable and "cleaned up" the mess-putting the toilet back on. The thing that really has me fuming is the $112 that he charged me for removing my toilet and getting his cable stuck. I payed him only because I am not a plumber and the other company would not come out and say that it could have been avoided only that they would not have approached it the way that ACR did. ACR just said there wasn't anything he could do about it and that he saved me money in the long run (although it cost about $1000 to have my yard dug up and that's 10 times he could have been out to clean it.). I would not recommend using this company.

"on 2/20 member called for a service call and was givein a service window i then got to her house around 4pm for a custumer called in floor drain when i arived at the house i found toilets backing up in the bassment i explained to the miss fauser that her sewer from the house was backing up i also infromed her that since there was no known cleanouts to access her line other then the cleanout on a stack sewer pipe that was about 4 1/2 to 5 foot off the floor or the bassment toilet and the best chance of not getting stuck would be to pull the bassment toilet and goin threw there unfortunately due to the massavie root intrusion and years of roots growing into the the line the cable did get cought on a massive ball of roots and had to be dug up to be removed we made every atempt to remove blockage and cable before any diggin was done as a sewer and drain company we have no idea what condition a pipe is in before we start any work most pipes are in the ground or inside walls or cellings in this case it was in the ground and the 1st step any company would do or will do is to run a cable to try to remove the blockage and sometimes a line will need to be dug i did stay up to date while the plumbers where doing the digging and they had to dig the line twice due to a few bad spots in the line before they dug the 2nd time at the cust reqest we spent a good part of a day tryin to cable the line at the 2nd spot and remove the massive root blockage from the 2nd spot the fellowing day the plumbers had to dig the 2nd part of the line up to replace it due to the massive root blockage and the damage the roots did to the pipe we here at ACR DRAINS completely understand the fustration the customer did go threw and we did everything possable to try to keep the customer informed and to keep the cost as reasonable as possable"
