Her work was outstanding. When I came home, my cats were happy and healthy, the mail was neatly stacked,and the flowers blooming. She also brought the trash up from the street after pick-up day. I could not have been happier. She also texted me regularly, reporting on what she did and how the cats were. When I came home, I found notes on each of her visits and a welcome home. I would definitely use her services again and I have recommended her to my friends.

She was marvelous.  When she went to visit the kitties to make sure they had food and water and cat box was cleaned.  She took a picture of them and sent it to me on my phone.  Isn’t that nice? She didn’t have to do that.  We became friends.  I would use her again in a minute.  I had 2 kitties.  She didn’t charge me for any, she wouldn’t have charge me if I had 2, or 3, or 5 kitties for the same amount.  She went all out.  I mean, she wanted to make sure my mail was working but I already stopped that before I knew I was going to be away for longer than 5 days.  I stopped the mail from running, I had newspaper stopped too.  She didn't have to go after, I told her I already done that.  She took care of my security system because I have a security system on my house.  She turned it off and turned it back on when she was leaving.  Her price was perfect.  She was the one who priced it because she lives only about 3 blocks away.  She goes by how far she has to go to.  When she came over for an interview, I was having problems with my security that needed new battery in it.  It was going off and we were talking and it kept going off and I go, I think it needs batteries.  She helped me take it down and looked at it and she took the batteries out and this is the type of batteries you need to get.  So I got the batteries and put it back on.  Afterwards, you know, I said, "wow, nice"  She was very helpful.  She dresses nice, she has a nice car and carries herself nice.  She talks professionally.  I recommended her to a couple of people I know.  I think she is great.

I was referred to a Simpler Life by a friend. I called Billie Jo (the owner) and she responded to me promptly, even explained that boarding my cat might be a cost saving option. She came to my house to meet our pets, see their routine and even learn the location of the kitty who needed medication's hiding spots. She provided a written contract with costs outlined and procedures she would follow in case of a medical emergency with one of my pets. Overall great service and experience. 

For several years now, I've used Billie Jo at A Simpler Life for cat sitting over the Christmas holidays. I learned about A Simpler Life from a neighborhood newsletter, and I was impressed with Billie Jo's professional and positive attitude during our first meeting. She clearly loves her job and treats it as a serious business--which, sadly, is pretty rare in the petsitting business. She keeps paperwork on file about stuff like how to get into your house, info about your pet's health and daily routine, how you would want a veterinary emergency handled, etc.
Billie Jo has always been so flexible and accommodating with my Christmas travel, working extra days when a weather delay kept me away. The last time I used her, over Christmas 2012, she offered to text me with brief updates about Button while I was gone. I took her up on the offer, and she sent several short but specific text updates (always during appropriate business hours) about my cat.
She always leaves a handwritten note detailing her visit to the house, and from the details she describes in these notes, there's no doubt that she's hanging out with my cat and that my cat really likes her. I often forget to ask her to do stuff like bring in the mail or newspapers, but she always does it and leaves them stacked neatly on my coffee table. She's a class act.

Very easy to work with.  Gave me approximately 4 weeks notice when they had to stop cleaning.

I pay $15 per hour. They will do just about any task that you want them to do for that same cost. They will do laundry or errands and they do homesitting. They are primarily known for their pet services so they will sit for your pet or walk your pet. I don't have a pet but I learned about her from a person who does have a pet. She does a good job. Her price is very fair.
