"Dear Mr. [Member Name Removed], I was surprised to see your complaint based on the conversation I had with your wife on the 23 of December. It is my understanding that our service person kept your wife in the loop the entire time he was at your home and she was aware that we were working on a time & material basic which she signed for. I was also under the impression that my servicepeson also discussed going through the wall to get into the line as well as the outside clean out and maybe a 2nd opinion or attempt was needed before going to that extreme. I also see from your concerns that the ARS man also decided to go through the closet bend because access to the main line was restricted . ( We have pictures if that would help ) When your wife called me about a refund, i told her I was glad she got the line open and I would get back to her. When I called her back like I told her I would do I offered her 2 solutions. I could reund $100.00 which is approximately a 20% refund or I would credit the $507.00 toward the installation of the new clean out which is also approx. 20%. She told me she did not want to do the clean out but she was not happy with a $100.00 refund. I asked what she had in mind and she mentioned $250.00, and we agreed on the $150.00. I also told her it was late in the afternoon on the 23rd so it would be later on in the week before we sent the credit through on the credit card, which we did onthe 26th of December. I assume this matter is closed at this time based on the fact we havesent the refubd in which was agreed to and that there will be no more social networking because you agreed to the refund on the 23rd of December.
