Abram Choba is the owner of this company. He took my despoit (30% of the price), but failed to start the work as promised; then he asked me to prepay him additional half of the remaining money as a favor, since he needed to hire someone to cover this work. I wrote him another check, and he then simply disappeared. I had to call police and report this as a scam. Police reached him, and he called me back and apologized. He then started to promise that he will return my money. However, he just lie about it over and over again, and never returned anything. It has been over a year, and I still haven't received a single dime back. DO NOT be fooled by this one! He had some good reviews but based on my personal experience, these are most likely fraudous.

Abraham arrived on time to meet me and look through the property. He sent me an estimate later that evening. We spoke and finally came to an agreement. I sent him a deposit for the job to be done. From then on it was downhill. He told me he would start on a certain date and did not. He had to remove a bit of old wallpaper. He did that and left the wet paper laying on the hardwood floors. The floors had not been protected. I cleaned this up. I was not at the house everyday, but spoke to Abraham to see how things were going. He told me how far along he was etc. I went over to the property to get in and the doors were all screwed shut. He said he had just sprayed and did not want anyone to enter. I was assured I could get in the next day. I would go to get in the next day and could not get in. I would talk to Abraham again and again. He lied and made up so many stories. Finally I got into the apt to see progress. He was no where to be found. Over this entire time frame of 2-3 weeks, no work was ever done. I do have screws in my doors and messed up door jams from things being screwed shut and pried open. Abraham said my deposit would be returned. I am still waiting.
