Home Building
This builder, Mark Powers, along with his brother Scott and wife Lisa are very dishonest and do not honor their word. Powermark built a new house for me I have had lots of problems with it's construction and they refuse to honor the warranty. During the construction, they tried to squeeze $100,000 out of me to "speed up the build". They knew I had the money because Scott, who is a real estate agent with Keller-Williams, sold my house and knew I needed the new house to be complete in 90 days. Unknown to me at the time was that Mark's father-in-law loaned the company money, placing a lean on the property where my partially built house was sitting. I had already paid $30,000 down and the Powers brothers said that their bank was financing the construction. They started to do some of the warranty and then left things half done and never returned as promised. You can check some of the legal actions against this builder online. Using this builder was the biggest mistake of my life.
