I've contacted Eric throughout the past two years. This is what I received and it isn't fair. I trusted him. While he beautified my neighbor's back yard, he treated mine like garbage because I didn't pay as much. So neighbors be careful. If you have lots of money, you will be just fine. If you have a small job, Eric will have zero respect for you and your property.That is wrong. So trust me, it is not the end of this story This company removed trees from my yard and 2 years later it sinks in the area like a sinkhole. The workers trampled and drove vehicles onto my grass causing bald patches and acted like I was the problem when I complained. In order to fix the bald patches from their boots and vehicles, they threw some type of shrubbery seeds that was supposed to be grass. When it wasn't growing, instead of re-doing it, he tried to blame it on me saying I didn't water it enough. He threw more shrubbery seeds down and for the last almost 2 years it has grown stuff that is clearly not grass. It is five feet tall with thick stick-like stems in some areas. The owner kept saying he would come look at it, but acted like he didn't know me every time I texted. He then got upset and told me to handle it myself. This company needs to understand that if we trust them to cut down our trees, they need to follow through with the re-soiling and grass planting, since that's what they promised they would do. They left me in a much worse position by not being able to walk on part of the lawn and having 5 ft tall shrub-type weeds where my grass used to be that can't be cut with a lawn mower. I really regret allowing them to cut the trees at all

Eric, “The Wood Guy” and his crew are wonderful! Do not hesitate to hire them for your tree needs. True to his word, amazing price and exceptional quality work. We had 7 massive pines, a humongous oak, and a locust tree removed in 2 days. Amazing! The guys work to put your yard back to almost new. We had to use a massive bucket truck and 100 ft crane with extension. You would never be able to tell those massive trucks were in our yard. I definitely will be using The Wood Guy for any future tree needs we might have.

Outstanding service. Eric, "The Wood Guy", is a man of his word. We had a difficult situation with multiple trees down. One tree hit the house and took out the electrical service. Eric immediately came to our rescue, got the tree removed and made it possible for electrical service to be restored. He then returned multiple times during a difficult and very busy period and took care of the rest of the trees. Quality individual, quality equipment and very professional to work with. Highly recommend.

Exceeded all of my expectations

I called for split firewood and he described what he had immediately available and what would be available soon. I chose a cord of dry mixed hardwoods he had now. Delivered on time. I chose to dump in my driveway so I could see what he brought as I was stacking later. Wood was evenly cut, quartered, and drying for one season. Also was exactly one cord measurement. Not shorted. Pleasantly surprised. The price for a cord delivered like this was worth it. Now to see if he can do it again this year. I recommend the service and to buy your cord early.

I showed up at their lumberyard at about 4:45.  Within 15 minutes, the truck was full and I was on my way back home.

Good experience.  Would recommend.

They were punctual and right on time. They were there exactly when they said they would be there to do it. They are also very flexible if we needed to make adjustments to what we needed. Their prices were very good.

The guy who came out was really good. He lived in a smaller town close to us, but not too far from us. He charged us about $400 for cutting the wood and taking it back for us. He was a hard working guy. He came out and did his work. He worked pretty much by himself. He had a guy who helped him load for a day or two. It was a fairly good sized tree. It was maybe 100 feet tall and 3 feet in diameter. Some of the pieces that the other guy had cut off were kind of heavy. He worked from the time he got there till the time he left. He was very obliging. He did something extra for us. He took the wood around back for me, which he didn’t have to do. The tree was out in the front and I was storing the wood in the back. He gave me some extra pallets. He brought some extra pallets from his house which is kind of where he works out of. He said that he had some extra pallets and he said that he would bring some when he came out the next time. It took him days to split the tree up. He was very helpful and very congenial. We didn’t have anything to compare his price to. We would use his services again.
