Borg's Pet Fence

The repair went much better than I expected, as I assumed it might require several hours to resolve. As always, Pat was friendly, professional and efficient. He quickly assessed the problem (line had been cut by workers in my yard) and had the fence fully operational in no time. I could not be happier with the work and final product.

I just had an electric fence installed by Pat Borg of Borg's Pet Fencing for my new puppy. I had a small, specific, irregular area I wanted fenced in (yes I'm a control freak) and he did a wonderful job of accommodating MY wishes and it worked very well with my little pup. I had a hard time the next day with the collar responding and called the company. His wife Sue was very kind, patient and knowledgeable in helping me, and walked me thru it (I am technologically challenged-to say the least!). Pat then stopped by later to be sure it worked. But after a couple of days, I came to realize that the area I had chosen, and insisted on having fenced, would not be a good setup for my dog once she was full grown. I paced around awhile then hesitantly called Pat to ask if he thought it would be possible to rerun the wire to enlarge the perimeter in the back yard (and I was sure he would think I was a lunatic!) But quite the opposite (whew!), he was very understanding and patiently helped me come up with a much better and roomier layout for my dog's not too distant future...and this time I deferred to his expertise! I am very happy with the results!! I can't say enough about Pat and Sue...very professional, easy to work with (unlike me), reasonable rates, quality service and workmanship. I would HIGHLY recommend this company! (glad customers are not reviewed...yikes!)

Pat worked around our schedule and was very helpful as far as how to set up our yard to where our our dog was able to have 2 zones. Then after the install was done he walked us around the yard and explained how to train our dog. Great company and very family oriented.

Company worked with us a year prior to design the layout before the concrete flatwork and retaining walls were build.  This helped prevent the rebar from affecting the containment system and confusing the dog.  As a result, we were able to give our dog a complete 360 degree path around the house despite the narrow property width and heavy steel usage on once side of the house.

When the installer returned on the day of installation, the process went smoothly.  They used professional equipment and materials and the project was complete in a few hours.  The installer was experienced and their vehicles were professional.

Later when our growing dog developed a very thick neck, the installer returned with a heavy duty collar.  They have been very responsive to our changing needs with a remote trainer, interior transmitter, and reprogramming when the dog challenged the fence. 

We now have a very reliable system that gives us no problems.  We are considering expanding the system to include a second pet.

The installation went great and the fence has worked perfectly for over 6 years. Recently, we needed to increase the strength of the correction. I called Borg's and the owner walked me through the process. They are really nice people and very easy to work with. I highly recommend them.
