Overall it went very well.  The guy came and took measurements which took a couple of hours. He warned me about a few places where there might be issues.
    I hired them to do the plumbing, too, and the plumber came first,  He did much more, including taking off most of the old countertops. The installers were late, but they did call and let me know .  They were courteous and explained everything to me.  One of the problems that the measurer warned about did happen--taking off some laminate on the wall. They suggested that we continue the backslpash around th corner, which meant another visit, but they accomplisehd that installation wihtin a week.
     They do lots of sawing while installing and we had been told to take out drawers, which we did.  It sitl left shaving in whatever was  under the countertops .I have had others te4ll me that their people cleaned up and there were no shavings anywhere. I think they swept, but I had to clean every drawer and surface under the countertop.
       The dishwasher was not bracketed in, but when they came back they fixed that.  All in all a good experiece.
       Two additional thoughts.  I got a price from Costco, too, who also uses Wood Dimensions (I saw the estimator there) and Costco was $1000 more than Lowe's. I don't know why when it was the same granite, installers, etc.
     The second thing is, I went to look at the granite and the sales person encouarged me to buy the cleaner. I asekd if I could wait and decide on the day they installed, but the she specifically told me that the installers would not have any with them.  Much to my surprised, the installers gave me some cleaner, so I feel like I was not told the truth in order to have me buy more cleaner..

We purchased Zodiaq at Wood Dimensions Inc. during a remnant sale that they hold periodically, and as a result, we were able to get a pretty good price on our countertops. When we had finished the cabinet installation, we called Wood Dimensions and scheduled a measuring to get the exact dimensions for the countertops. When it came time for installation, the installers were very prompt, professional and did an excellent job. The installers, who I believe were subcontractors, were extremely knowledgeable about all aspects of the countertops.
